Hitler is dead, by now almost 65 years. Hitler Germany lost the war.

 

We are friends now.

 

In 1945 nearly everything was destroyed, but life had to go on, you know?

Food was needed, most towns were destroyed.

From their ruins they had to rise houses, streets, citys, industries, ... nearly everything. There was not much money and wealth around.

And a cheap car was needed.

 

Probably they didn't like the idea to bild the Beatle again, but ...
