Helmet look disabling?

Greetings all, shadow hide you.

 

Does anyone know if there is a mod or a .ini change that can disable the appearance of helmets without unequipping them?

I'd really love to see my female characters face and hair instead of the brutally ugly helmets, without losing the benefits that comes with wearing one.

I doubt that it is possible... Unless you change the model of your helmet

You can also try Kafeis Armored Circlets. They won't hide your character's face and you'd still get some armor bonus.

Use the armored circlets. They'll give you protection and wont' take up all your face. You should also get a Ring and circlet replacer because they look ugly without one.
