Corrupted Saves

Not the quick or auto saves, but the normal ones. All of a sudden magic effects freeze around my two girls and stay there. The girls do not leave wakes in the shallows anymore. Waterfalls have stopped flowing and fires no longer flicker. Nothing else seems to be effected. I wouldn't normally complain, but the magic effects block my vision and, well, I miss my waterfalls and flickering fires. This has tainted my two most recent saves, but not the saves made some time ago. I searched the board, but didn't see anything relating to this.

The only difference is that I recently installed "Shaved Robert Bodies Skin" By Mr. Rebel O Conner, but deleted it when it gave my Ramy four breasts and two belly buttons. It was about this time that the trouble started. If anyone has a clue as to how this happened or how I might correct it I would be every so much grateful.

I can't see why adding the new textures would have caused the animations problem. BUT, there is a glitch even in the vanilla game after playing for a certain number of hours, usually 200plus.

 

All animations begin to slowdown or can even freeze. Door buttons stop working etc.

 

How many hours have your saves got on them?

 

You can read about it here and download Wrye Bash to fix it. It's called The A Bomb Glitch. About halfway down the page under Animation Bug:

Wrye Bash isn't mentioned in that article but it has a function to repair the glitch.

 

Saving on rest and Auto saves ae known to corrupt saves so it's best not to use them or rely on them. Some say Quicksave does it as well, but I use QS all the time. I just delete it every now and then and make new ones.

That sounds exactly like the problem. I have Wrye Bash, but have not installed it as yet. I understand that I need access to their website and it appears to be down right now so I'm stuck until it gets cleared. But at least there is hope. Thank you, Maigrets!! Edit: Topeka!! I searched for and found "OAF_v1_2 Animation Replacer' and it fixed the problem (for now). You have done much to save the lives of the Daughter of my Mind, Harem, as well as Ramy her sidekick companion. Much more gratitude your way and if you ever find yourself with a thorn in your paw, Maigrets, I will gladly pull it out for you I will. I never thought that I would have sympathy for a console gamer, but my heart broke to hear of their sad stories with no hope of a fix. Thank you once again, Lass. I owe you a big favour.
