Dilvish
It's a 9700.The 9500 PRO and 9700 are similar video cards with the 9700 being the better of the two.

Hammer_head
I think my computer. Athlon 2800+, Ati X700 pro, 1 gig ddr should run it fairly well, and ofcourse a new 19' lcd. Might have to reduce some settings but not much,, a new mobo and an Athlon 64 3500+ on the way will help ( hopefully 2 gig ddr2 there ). update: went witha 3800 x2 , different mobo change video cards to pci-e later as the other reason to updatecomp ( Vista ) has been delayed ,,, no surprise there

sesmar
I do not have any hope of my computer running Oblivion as it is: 950Mhz AMD Duron256 Geforce Fx 5200 AGP 2x1GB PC100 Ram160 GB PATA Western Digital HD120 GB PATA Western Digital HD While I am able to run Morrowind with out any problems and I have run KOTOR and KOTOR II with high to medium settings. Even though I was able to pull this off, I am long over due for a new system as I built this one back in 2001. I am building a new system in the next couple of weeks, hopefully before Oblivian hits the stores. Specs for hte new system wil be: 3.0 Ghz Pentium 4 630, 64 Bit with HTGigabyte GA-8N-SLI Socket T (LGA 775) NVIDIA nForce4 SLI ATX Intel Motherboard (Supporting up to 8GB or DDR2 667 Ram)XFX PVT42EUDE3 6800 XTreme 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video CardCOOLMAX CP-500T EPS12V 500W Active PFC Power Supply 100 - 240V1GB DDR2 667 PC5400 RAM Keeping my existing HD's I also have my HD's split into several partitions to help orgainize and seperate my data, on top of helping speed up my computer a little. This system I am fairly certain will not have any problems running the newer games that are coming out.

The dual cores might not be that important right now, but they will be and then, if you get a pentium 3 ghz you will regret be outta luck. The dual core may not be important now, but eventually games will require it. Oh and Athlon is much less expensive than Intel and way better in my opinion.
