devinpatterson
I was curious if anyone had insight to how the birds (the visual effects you see flying in teh sky, as opposed to ravens) work in fallout. I'v checked the meshes\sky folder as well as textures and I'v done a search for birds in both BSAs but have no clue how these two dimensional textures are generated. chucksteel
In the object window do a search for FXVultures and you'll find them there a movable static.
devinpatterson
In the object window do a search for FXVultures and you'll find them there a movable static. Thanks Chucksteel, I sure appreciate it. There's a request for Airships in the sky and I was hoping this line of thought might prove productive (as opposed to moving a object via script). chucksteel
I saw that request, it is somewhat interesting. If you have a model for the airship I may be able to replace the birds with it in the animated static. (again I say may or possibly!) If you look at my latest mod "Toys that Destroy" I replaced the missile launcher ammo with the Repconn Rocket souvenir as a fun little alternative. The player sees the full reload animation with the rocket toy and can see the rocket fly in vats cam. If you need any help let me know.
