Chaoslava
Hey, is it possible to add Fallout 3 Weapons to Oblivion? I'm talking about stuff like Jack and the Super Hammer.. And if possible the guns too? Just wondering.. Both games use the same engine and as far as I can tell the same file system, and the SDK's are very similiar too. Any help? Thanks. I dont think the guns would be possible sence oblivion doesnt support them, like all of the gun mods you see the dont use bullets. Not to menchion most of them mess your FPS up horribley As for the malee weapons im sure you can
paladicprince
yeah it's possible, but you get into issues with hosting. Sites don't allow you to host content that's ported directly from another game. So if you ever made a mod like this you'd only be able to share it with like your personal friends and not host it. Guns would take more work than melee than melee
Chaoslava
That's fine. Melee is fine :) The mod is for a personal project and I own both Oblivion GOTY and Fallout 3.. Can anyone help me get some of the melee weapons from Fallout into Oblivion? Also, what about character models? Like armour from Fallout.. Thanks. paladicprince
It's pretty easy at that point, just copy the nif files from fallout into the oblivion data folder then in the CS go make a new weapon/armor. Of course the stat system is different but you can just find something similar. I don't think it's any harder than that offhand, but I don't have fallout anymore so I'm not sure. ThePearl
Yes it is harder.. For armour the char skeleton may be different For weapons the char skeleton may be different, as well as collision etc.
