Who's playing space engineers?

I tried it since my brother is sharing his Steam library with me, but it doesn't run very good on my laptop. Seems really fun though.

I am, and loving every minute so far. This is very much my sort of game: it's got shooting, it's got designing, it's got building. Three of my favourite things.

 

My first build was a sort of space-helicopter, so named because I laid it out like a helicopter(I'm not crazy, I designed it that way because it was an easy, functional shape to build and work with, cooler shapes could come after I worked out the basics). Cockpit at the front, reactor in the middle, thrusters at the top, and a boom at the rear with turning jets. It worked pretty well, too. There was a slight minor issue though, resulting in minor, partial obliteration of it and everything near it. I didn't fit enough reactors; the space-helicopter exploded violently the moment I applied full-throttle, blowing itself in half.

I'm sure I'll try it someday, but money is tight right now and I have a lot bigger of priorities. Like saving money, and making sure I can upgrade my PC just enough to bring it up to date.

 

It does seem like the kind of game I'd like though.

Space -> yay

Building -> yay

Physics -> yay

Sandbox -> yay

It's a good one to remember Rennn, do your upgrades first, so you've got this to look forward to when you finally do. It's a great game, and the physics/destruction are just amazing.
