Unique one handed weapons to into two handed variants

Do these get looked at often? I thought I'd give this a shot. I'd like to request something that I hope would be pretty simple to accomplish: A mod that make two handed versions of unique one handed weapons. A Chillrend greatsword, as mentioned above, or Grimsevr, Harkon's sword, Dragonbane and other katanas retextured into a two hander with the Ebony Blade, a Nightingale Greatsword, two handed Ghostblade, etc. Could maybe even go backwards with that and turn some of the two handed weapons into one handed ones. Thoughts?

Doing these edits could create a corresponding "unique" two handed version of a one handed weapon? I was hoping to learn how to make the changes myself, so this could be a good opportunity to practice. Would it be considered a retexture to get Chillrend's blue blade and ice effect onto a glass greatsword? That's what I meant. I'd hoped it wouldn't be too difficult.

You can do a two handed version of chillrend including color and ice effect. Basically this would be the exactly same sword only holding with two hands and acting like a real two handed sword now but I wouldn't consider this as a retexture since you don't have to edit the texture files. In this case you just edit some data in the CK and in the meshes.

Anyway you CANNOT take a real greatsword and get the blue blade without retexturing (the ice effect is no problem).

Get nifskope from here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/niftools/files/nifskope/

Then I can show you how it works (no worry it's no rocket science).

Got it. So my options, without retexturing, are to either edit Chillrend into a two handed weapon, or simply apply the enchantment/ice effect to a greatsword without the the blue color. I'll grab nifskope this weekend and get back to you, if that's alright. Finals are bearing down on me.
