  1. With this video card you can go 4k all the way. I have 3080ti and use 4k textures whenever they are available. But It's also true you won't see that much difference unless you take a closer look.
  2. Does anyone know where this door is from: Unfortunately I can't figure it out.
  3. Yes. You do this by simply setting the enchantment cost to zero. But there is a kind of a bug. When you are doing this with a weapon that's already in your inventory it shows no effect so you have to respawn it. If you want to have the charge bar shown up you must set the enchantment value in the weapon record to 3000. If the bar shall not show up (not necessary since the charge stays at its maximum) simply set it to "0".
  4. Du kannst deinen Begleitern ihre Standardwaffen nicht wegnehmen. Wenn du ihnen allerdings bessere Waffen oder Rüstungen gibst, werden Sie in der Regel auch immer diese verwenden.
  5. Hello! After upgrading my whole PC hardware and updating from Windows 7 to Windows 10 everything works fine except one thing: I can't load the Dragonborn.esm or any plugin that has Dragonborn as a master. Dawnguard still works fine. What I tried so far... - fresh install of the Creation Kit - adding the known command lines to the Skyrimeditor.ini: bAllowMultipleMasterLoads=1 bAllowMultipleMasterFiles=1 SArchiveList=Skyrim - Textures.bsa, Skyrim - Meshes.bsa, Skyrim - Animations.bsa, Skyrim - Voices.bsa, Skyrim - Interface.bsa, Skyrim - Misc.bsa, Skyrim - Sounds.bsa, Skyrim - VoicesExtra.bsa, Skyrim - Shaders.bsa, Update.bsa, Dawnguard.bsa, Hearthfires.bsa, Dragonborn.bsa SResourceArchiveList2=Skyrim - Shaders.bsa, Update.bsa, Dawnguard.bsa, HearthFires.bsa, Dragonborn.bsa Has anybody an idea?
  6. So what you are asking for is nothing more than that the community should evolve in a direction according to your special taste.
  7. I know I know never touch a running system but I can't be true to Windows 7 forever. So I upgraded Windows 7 to Windows 10 (I did no fresh install!) since I didn't want to reinstall all of my software and do the tweaking stuff. So far everything works and Skyrim starts as well BUT!!! all of my save games are gone. The files are still in the proper folder (C:\Users\Username\Documents\my games\skyrim\saves) but the LOAD button in the main menu is grayed out. I cannot click on this. Does anybody know what causes this and how to solve it? edit: I've noticed something. All savegames have the suffix .skse but shouldn't it be .ess? Also all files are about 5kb but they should be around 20mb.
  8. Yes and you better save some money. Creating armor and make them game ready for Skyrim takes a lot of time.
  9. I am mainly interested in quest mods that will bring you additional hours of gameplay. Besides that I'm interested in mods that improve the visual quality of the game like texture mods.
  10. I don't even know what compiling scripts means so  I have a slight idea what scripts do and when you need them but I don't work with them at all. Thanks for all your answers!
  11. I don't have a folder data/scripts/source either but yeah it's possible that I said "no" but then I must have said "not" the very first time back in 2015 when I installed it for the first time. In the meantime I must have spend hundreds of hours in the CK without any problem so would you say I can just leave it like that or should I install these files manually? I still play Oldrim with the old Creation Kit.
  12. Hello and thanks for your reply! Are you sure about that the CK will unzip those file on it's own? I'm asking because as said none of the files of the container are actually in the Data\scripts\source folder.
  13. Hello! I've noticed Inside the data a container file named "Scripts": I don't know for sure but I think it was created when I did a fresh install of the Creation Kit in November 2020. The content of this file looks like this: It has only .psc files but no .pex files at all. My question is: do I have to unzip this archive? I already have the directory C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\Data\scripts\source but none of the .psc files inside the container are also in this directory. I don't have any problems in Skyrim but I have to mention that I didn't really play since then. I mainly test mods for my next playthrough. Thanks for any help!
  14. Then you will be amazed that a ton of weapons and armors from movies and TV shows didn't make it to Skyrim.
  15. Cowboy hat...poncho...sniper rifle...you sure you're in the right forum?
  16. Considering the link you provided leads to a white page this probably won't change.
  17. Changing outfits is a litte bit tricky... Your problem is that Bijin is changing the appearance of Njada. Your new .esp changes the outfit for Njada but this .esp has the vanilla settings for Njada as a basis. So your .esp overwirtes every change for Njada that is made by Bijin. So you could do this: 1. You directly edit the .esp of Bijin and give Njada the new outfit 2. You set up the Bijin. esp as a Master for your own .esp and change Njada's Outfit in your .esp.
  18. You can do this in the Creation Kit (laborious), with TESVEdit (much better, but still tricky) or with the TESVTranslator (recommended). https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/29148
  19. Convert the Oldrim meshes with this tool: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/4089/ Then open up the .esp with the SSE Creation Kit and resave it. As long as the textures aren't saved in an uncompressed format this might do the trick.
  20. Maybe because Rudy is ENB is (as the name would guess) an ENB and no texture replacer?
