Slawter500
Thank you, Sorry if I wasn't being clear, but that is what i was getting at. It would be quicker to take some parts, like the lower half and edit them, although its probably better to do the top from scratch.
eleglas
Ok, please can we stop comparing the two! Please get back on subject! Will anyone do this?
Slawter500
It was on subject, we were saying how time could be cut by using(with permission) other textures/meshes. Maybe try contacting the maker of the original assasins creed armour mod and requesting he do it.
forgerofsouls
What Slawter said. It was on topic because we were discussing on how to make the armor after all. For it is important to take in conscideration the original armor made and the new armor, and the similarities between the two. And also the differences. Would it be faster to make a new armor from scratch, would that be the better idea? Or would it be a better idea to ask the original armor's modder to use his model and textures and modify them to fit the new outfit? Or, even better, have the oringal modder make the second outfit? It was on topic though it did look like an argument over the similarities. And I think it would be a good idea to contact the original mod's maker for permission, or, if possible, for them to make the second on.
eleglas
Sorry, but it sounded like a heated argument to me. I believe it would be easier to start from scratch, but I can PM the orginal maker (Nexxon, from what I can see), if you all think it will be better if I do PM him, then I will, I have no experience with moddelling or texturing, only general modding and scripting. But ultimately, this is your mod (if you decide to do it), so its your decision. EDIT: Nexxon has said in a recent comment that he will not do an Ezio Auditore Di Firenze outfit mod, mainly cos he doesn't like it.
forgerofsouls
lol Well, that means we have to make it from scratch XD And I have no skills at making models or even textures...but at the very least we can ask Nexxon for permission to use his model and texture. kieranfoy
BUMP! Come on guys, I really want this made, and I think it'll be great. Buming is against the rules, and the admins ban people for it. And they don't care how totallly awesome you request is.
Retribution
No they don't. They really don't care if people bump threads, as far as I can tell. I don't know why it's in the rules.
