RuLeR2112
So I was talking to a guy a he said "you...morrowind r00lz and oblivion sucks" i said to him hey you oblivion is gonna rool, morrowind is kewl! but oblivion next gen better graphicas combat system and magic system and the havoc engine. Electricty is now not a ball of lightning (yay) nad i have not seen the cold dmg yet and sneak looks alot more flexible than morrowinds sneak ( you know how they sneak stiff stiff) and what will you do witht eh havoc sytem bowl down civilians, join dark brotherhood and KILL KILL KILL INNOCENTS? or how about being a thief. this is the place to talk about ALL of oblivion talk about combat, stealth and magic and havoc and as for the guy i shoved my boot up his a** :D
VaanicOne
Er...right...okay. I can't actually understand what you are saying....but I'll say this: I'm most looking forward to stealth. the improvements and additions to it that I have seen are excellent, and I'm looking forward to playing as stealth char. Switch
I would have to say Marksman and the new magic system are what I'm most looking forward to combat-wise... Having arrows stick into things and bodies and be retrievable is a very nice touch. Having to constantly buy mountains of new arrows is one of the things that usually puts me off archery in games. Not to mention the fun that can be had with physics... Regenerating Magicka and the ability to create unique spells that all look different, as well as send things flying in a giant firey explosion... And of course custom shader effects made in the CS are what I'm looking forward to so far as magic is concerned. Yum. :P Blade isn't looking bad either. Don't think I'll be sneaking much though... Played Thief 3 for too long I think. ^^; No doubt I'll try it eventually.

KzinistZerg
I have to go with the Stealth too. I found the stealth systems in Morrowind to be wooden at best, so a good improvement is certainly in order. (can a mod edit the title of this thread to make it not srceen stretchy?) edstamos1
I'm beginning to understand why we have to take five courses in English in high school o.O Anyways, at the moment I'm most interested in the new magic system. In Morrowind, I couldn't make a very good mage without taking Long Blade as a major skill. I'm thinking of making a pure Mage, pure Fighter, and pure Theif and see if I can get through the game with those three classes (although I suspect the theif will have to be an archer). Actually, even above the magic system, I'm looking forward to the CS. I was not an active modder for Morrowind, but I think I'll spend some time modding with this iteration. Povuholo
Ofcourse i will try all the stuff with different characters. Mage, thief, warrior.. Btw what is the difference between a spellblade and a battlemage? They both seem a combination of warrior/mage to me. Thats probably what my first character is going to be, so i can take advantage of the new way magic works, and melee combat as well.
