I would like to say how awesome I think this is, and that I will play this mod so hardcore once released. I love Star Trek; my boyfriend, another friend of ours, and I drove the 7 hours to Las Vegas for the Star Trek convention this year. . . oh dear, is my nerd showing? :biggrin:

Will be starting back on the bridge next. The whole process for the dorsal took the whole day today. I originally only figured on a few hours; but,

that was before deciding to remake the floors from scratch with a new set of dorsal hull skins. My revised estimate was a day and a half, so I beat

it by half a day. My estimates suck. Going to have to start estimating weeks or something lol.

Off to work.

Yeah, your nerd is showing lol. That's ok, if this thread isn't my nerd showing, nothing is lol.

I remember road tripping it up to Lake Geneva for Gen Con. That was 5-6 hours; so, I'm there.

And I think I took the title "Lord High Geek" on the main thread at 3dbuzz some time ago, so..

Thank you. It's always nice to hear from people on the build - good, bad or indifferent.

I post this to 7 different sites from which I get a broad sampling of responses - from star

trek tech to modding tech to guys who ask me the volume of the potable water stowage...

And, no, I have no idea how much actual volume there is, so perhaps someone else is

Lord High Geek and I just usurped the title.. rofl

Looking forward to eventually getting to the modding part of this.

Well, if you happen to know the area of the compartments that store the water, it would be easy to calculate its volume.

Yeah, it would involve a bit of calculus that I haven't used in a while; but, it could be derived from the model at this point.

It just kinda struck me funny.

It certainly would be a funny line item in the feature list when the model is available for use. I can see it now:

FEATURES

=========

* blah blah blah

* Can hold up to 380,000 liters of bio-waste material before ejection towards a sun.

* blah blah blah

*snort* :D

And Tchos, gotcha. But, no, I don't have the measurements handy. I pretty well buried all my scratchings after I did the initial conversions and built the geometry. Best I'd be able to offer would be a coordinate list and that would take some time to assemble.

That said, the reason I popped in was to announce that the cleanup phase is Officially DONE! (sigh).
