Dereliction
I've decided to park my assassin and barbarian characters for a bit to roll an agent and I'm looking for some suggestions (mostly mod related) from, well, you! First off, a couple notes so you can help me ... The character will be played using SPAM (the leveling mod) and I will be limiting myself to ONLY using skills directly garnered from the Agent class, so far as it is humanely possible. This means the character will fight with a bow only, no armor at all, and no magic whatsoever excepting illusion. Also I will not use alchemy (I can purchase potions but I can't make them) so it also means no poisons. What I'm looking for are mod suggestions, primarily for clothing (I use HGCE btw) and any mods that you think may enhance the life and story of an agent in Cyrodiil. Archery and roguish styled mods you might suggest, for example? I'll be joining the thieves guild (i.e., establishing her shady contacts in the world) as well as the mage guild (primarily for enchanting and some spell crafting later on). I am very likely to NOT join the DB or FG, though maybe someone will convince me otherwise. I mean, I could see how the DB could be worked in thematically for such a character but I'm looking to play a little less murderous than my assassin. *grin* Also, I think I will put off doing the main quest until much later (post 15 at least, if not 20). Any RP suggestions, including proposed agent "activities" I might engage the character in? Fire away, I'm all ears. Thanks!
Dereliction
I've started the toon but would love to hear some mod suggestions for adventures, gear, skill, and general gameplay enhancements you think would work well for an agent play-style! So far? Best thing an agent can hear from the enemy? "Hey! I'm on your side!"
Illiad86
Well this armour is cool for a ranger type character I think http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=23678 and maybe you could find a house...there are lots that are secluded in the forests or a treehouse or something. :) and uhm...maybe the Golden Arrow Shop to get arrows and bows http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2203 There were a few other armours that are cool, just can't think of the names at the moment. Uhm...other than that I don't know, my character is a whole mish mash of things. She's Bosmer and Dremora so she can use the bow quite well but also blow your butt up with a fireball lol. I RP her as a confused young woman who spent her childhood being raised in Oblivion and sent to Tamriel days before the invasion begins  She doesn't know if to stay loyal to her kyn or save the world that she has come to like. I did originally play her as a Bosmer archer and thief, but that was before mods, I played the game the whole way through vanilla with her. I'm going to give both of those mods a shot (pardon the pun). Thanks for the suggestions on those. and maybe you could find a house...there are lots that are secluded in the forests or a treehouse or something. :) As an agent I imagine the character to be much more of an urbanite so a secluded forest home (or particularly a treehouse) seems out of flavor to me. Uhm...other than that I don't know, my character is a whole mish mash of things. She's Bosmer and Dremora so she can use the bow quite well but also blow your butt up with a fireball lol. I did originally play her as a Bosmer archer and thief, but that was before mods, I played the game the whole way through vanilla with her. My assassin is a Bosmer as well. Easily my favorite to play in Oblivion to date but she has pretty much gone through everything I'd be interested in doing with her. A really fun character though. Super deadly, which is of course fun in its own right. :) At some point I'd like to try a ranger, stay-outdoors-all-the-time type (akin to the barbarian I play), or perhaps something more of a druid, either of which I'd very likely roll as a Bosmer (or possibly Nord at least for the latter). For now I thought I'd make it challenging by playing an Imperial agent, along with the limitations I mentioned earlier. I can see already that it will be an uphill struggle as she is not very combat effective--low starting agility and speed, moderate bow skill, little effective magic ... basically poor survivability early on. I definitely need to focus on illusion skills or things are going to get really tough in just a handful of levels. Anyhow, thanks again for the suggestions! Illiad86
hmm, well for a good urban home, I use the Elven Gardens Apartment It's nice size, and I just love the basement kitchen http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=14556 the maid is totally optional, I don't use her personally. but I just recently found a Daedric city and living there currently...thinking of re doing my character as a straight up evil nasty halfbreed that hates Tamriel because they shunned her mother for loving a Dremora haha. Just for a try, I normally play the "nice" character :D

I'll be checking this one out soon. As a side note, I stumbled across this mod: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=19009 Has a really nice pair of roguish/agent-ish pants that look really sharp, if not a bit Laura Croft. I do like the ranger outfit you mentioned earlier, a very cool find! The only downside (for this character) is that all the items were light armor! Doh! All the same, I'm glad you suggested it as I'm sure that outfit will get some use on a character or three down the road ...
Illiad86
yeah, those are cool outfits :) Yeah...you won't find too many that aren't armor, I'm afraid. Makes me miss Morrowind.
