Dual Sheath Redux - Reinstall not working

Hi everyone,

 

First excuse my english, I'm a poor French student!

 

I know there are a lot of topics about issues with the Dual Sheath Redux mod, but I did not find any with the same problem I have.

 

Some times ago, I "uninstalled" the Dual Sheath Redux mod using the SkyUI mod configuration window (ingame), but know, I can't reinstall it ! I tried to remove the mod from the game and add it again but it changed nothing...

 

When I go to the SkyUI mod configuration window, I see the "Reinstall" button under the Dual Sheath Redux page, but when I click "Reinstall", it just says "Close the window to start reinstalling.", then nothing happen... (even if I close the window).

you will need some costum animations aswell to make it work how it should Immersive Animations : http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34950/? (Install this first if you want to use it)

READ EVERY SINGLE WORD IN THE INSTALLATION OF THOUSE, 1 WRONG ANIMATION AND YOUR GAME WILL CRASH AFTER THE SKYRIM LOGO!!!

 

and Custom meshes from Duelsheath for your installed weapon packs, creature pack etc. everything you have running.

I read every single word ! But i never used or read about FNIS ?? Why i should use this one ?

 

Immersive Animation is installed. The mod Dual Sheath worked for me but then i installed sum others and then.. ye, i unistalled it. Now i cant activate it anymore !

I installed every patch for all of those weapon and armor packs. I cant explain me why it dont work.

you need to run the FNISforUsers.exe after installing\deinstalling animations they won't work or brake your game otherwise, you can find it after installing in the ..Skyrim\data\tools\FNISforUsers folder

 

without running SUM after that you won't use duel sheath at all (our only you can use it, npc's won't) don't know how you got it working.. that one is in Skyrim\data\ScyProc Patchers\SUM

 

edit : forgot to ask, have you installed XP32Skeleton ?

Ok thank you for this answer. I never heard about FNIS !

 

Ill try it out and let you know what will happen.

But why this Mod worked 4 me before i installed sum other mods ? This is actually confusing.

ok then everything from start, you need that one, better deinstall all the animations/duel sheath first and start with the XP32Skeleton use the NMM one. (no need to deinstall FNIS/SUM)

 

2.Immersive Animations run FNIS just to be safe ;)

 

3.duel sheath - meshes, packs etc. all you need from the optionals

 

4.run FNIS don't forget to turn the Skeleton fix + GENDER Specific Animations on

 

5.run SUM

 

6.play the game how it should have been released from start^^

I did everything what youve been said. But yeah, same problem here. I cant activate it ingame !

i had some probs getting it running too, but what do mean by activate ingame? the MCM?

 

then u need SKSE + SkyUi :ninja:

 

Install SKSE first then SkyUi and activate it

 

 

You need to start your game always with the skse_loader.exe after that

Ive got over 200 Mods ! And SKSE + SKUI one of these ! :D

 

ingame = McM

 

If you open it, and then go to Dual Shealth you can uninstall it ! I did it cuz it dont works anymore. Now I cant reinstall it ! There always comes a pop up like : "Close the window to start reinstalling."! And after that nothing will happen !
