I have a fair amount of mods installed and I'm looking to purchase Dragonborn and Hearthfire ( I already have Dawnguard) and I'm wondering what I will have to do in order to make sure they do not cause problems with the mods I already have installed. I assume uninstalling everything then re-installing after with the necessary compatibility patches would likely be a good bet, but I'm wondering if that's actually necessary. Owlburgers Posted April 14, 2014 Share Posted April 14, 2014 shouldn't be necessary to re download mods. Mods are added to the game after you the launch a game as opposed to starting the program as it is (vanilla).
