looking for a mod that null weight

Might I recommend a different solution? BoBos Summoned Chest

The strength mod would affect much more than carrying capacity and would feel too "cheaty" in-game I think.

Another option would be to create your own mod that enchants an amulet with a massive amount of feather which would allow you to carry quite a bit as long as you are wearing it without affecting your other skills and abilities.

the 1st mod is corrupt and doesn't work

the file should be 1kb and it is only 171bytes

I opened it in hex editor and it really looks like the file is missing its end

anyone has a backup of the real file and could upload it to rapidshare or anywhere please?

@LHammonds

Your mods sounds awesome but it doesn't work from the begining of the game since I must learn it in a book

After trying other mods, it's not only that mod that doesn't work for me, none of the mods work for me at all... D:

Am I missing an important step to make mods work?

I did put the esp files in data sub folder, is there anything else to do?

Maybe they're incompatible with 1.2 patch?

Any idea?

It's actually not a strength mod, but one that changes the multiplier affecting how much each point in strength gives you in allowed encumbrance.

Also, it's easy to create yourself (no real need to download). Open the CS, and main data file (oblivion.esm). After it's open, click Gameplay (menu) - Settings. Change the value for fActorStrengthEncumbranceMult to something that suits your tastes (default 5.0...). Save as a new esp, exit the CS, enable your new mod and you're good to go.

Did you unzip the mod? All mods come in a compressed format and must be unzipped using a program such as 7-zip.

I have a set of help files for people who are not computer geeks and are new to mods. They include downloading, extracting (unzipping) installing and activating mods. I have included a simple mod to practice on and instructions for installing and using 7-zip. If you are interested, click on the highlighted link below to be taken to the site where they are kept. I recommend starting with #1 and working your way through them.

If you use them I would appreciate some feedback as to what needs improvement and what works for you.
