Justy311
Can someone briefly explain what causes order requirement of mods? I edited one of my mods a little bit ago, and now it only correctly displays the edits if it's at the bottom of the list. Well I have other mods that need to be lower, or says they do such as Fellout. It's a really simple little esp that changed the bed in the Megaton house to go a little better with my Prewar Theme. http://i38.tinypic.com/13z1lah.jpg When the mod is at the bottom of the list, it works correctly... but when I put it in it's normal place (Situated at 07) it displays that. Anyone know how I can fix this and try to avoid it in the future?
csb
By default, it is the mod's date that determines order (in the default Fallout3 launcher). To properly order mods, you'll want Timeslip's Fallout Mod Manager (FOMM). It basicallly "redates" the mods according to their order in the list. Justy311
I have FOMM, and I've moved the mod to the 07 slot (EWR .esm is my 06 slot), I've moved it up and down with FOMM, is there another way to do it? In FOMM if it's 07 I get that graphic error, but if it's at the end I don't get it. It's rather irritating.
csb
Which speaks to a conflict issue. For that you'll want to get ElminsterAU's FO3Edit. Get Miax's great FO3Edit Guide - Web-enized to learn the conflict detection process and how to fix mod conflicts.
