Bannered Mare CTD

UPDATE:

I am getting a CTD every time I attempt to enter any inn. Dead Man's Drink yield a CTD.

You didn't indicate if you attempted the 'brute force' method for tracking reproducible CTDs that I mentioned in an earlier post.

I was having this problem, too. Even with Vanilla game, I believe. In the end, cleaning my masters/mods with TES5Edit fixed the issue.

Well, that's not my problem, I don't think. It's nowhere else but when I attempt to enter the Bannered Mare. I simply cannot go in lest the game crash on me.

I'm having the issue with the bannered mare only the bannered mare CTD I've done the TES5Edit thing and still not working any idea's?

load all mods into tes5edit. expand/open skyrim esm. scroll down and expand cell. then expand block 6 and then sub-block 0. left click bannered mare and tes5edit will show you all mods that are overwriting vanilla bannered mare. If your only getting problem in the Bannered Mare this might just find your problem.

 

edit: as Nicolejon elluded to, having clean masters, in addition to enb boost and some sort of memory fix(skse ini or SSME mod) is 100% needed for all gamers.

Okay, so, every time I attempt to enter The Bannered Mare in Whiterun, I get an almost instantaneous crash. The mods I have don't directly add any NPC's or anything substantial that I know of. I did have Wyrmstooth and that added an NPC and pissed something off, so I though it was that and I deleted the whole mod and well, nothing happened, I still get regular crashes.

I would just like to say that I have BOSS, have TES5Edit, and Wrye Bash and run them through the Mod Organizer so they all know all of my mods. Not having any of those things is not my issue.

Necro'd thread but started having this issue after messing around with my heavily modded game. Turns out it was a merge of some followers mod I made. Read about it on reddit and that was the common type of mod among everyone who was having that issue.

So for anyone else having this issue you might want to check first any new follower mods you may have added to your load order
