Justy311
Alright. I'm still new at modding, etc and I'm working on little things here and there. Granted I'm not very artistic so I'm not doing textures or actual models, just messing around with stuff in game that has it's own textures or things that I find on here... I recently started to try and form my own 'room', I looked at the vault tutorial but it seems off to me. I was trying to make a Tenpenny type room, just an upstairs cell for my suite, nothing major, but I couldn't get the peices to snap together right. The Bethesda guide said 128 should be fine, but it didn't work so well for me... and if I dragged and dropped a new mesh it got even more skewered and messed up.... So what is a decent snap to grid ammount? I know in Unreal I usually stick with a default of 16 or 32, but like I said the Bethesda guid said 128 was good for most things.... and is there a better way to add new items into the render window? (Other then the CTRL F since I still don't know names well enough to search through them all like that.) Beyond that.. I was trying to create a 'stun gun' using the Gauss Rifle model and the Mesmetron's enchant, but I was trying to get it to 100% chence to Stun. I set the damage etc all down like the Mes, but it still fails, any suggestions? and my last question at the moment... I know MMM makes a lot of retextures for monsters, but does it (or another mod) increase encounter ratings? I don't want anything too crazy, but I seriously just went from Jefferson Mem. To Smith Casey's with only 2 encounters. It was rather boring.
