Daniel1414
I know it may sound like a dumb question, but I'm having trouble saving. I am following the GECK Tutorial off the Bethesda Fallout 3 site, I was making Vault 74, and when I went to save I got a File Error message saying: "File 'Vault74.esp' is a master file or is in use. Please select another file to save to." I have no clue what I'm doing, I also lost several hours of work last night because of this. Help would be appreciated. :)
gsmanners
It's a good idea to start saving right away, especially because of that bug. Make sure you type the entire filename, including the ".esp" part or you *will* get that error every time. Sometimes you'll get that error anyway for no apparent reason, too. Daniel1414
So whenever I press the save button I should type in "Vault74.esp" to overwrite my pre existing Vault74.esp?
gsmanners
Just the first time. That is to say, when you create the file. Every time afterward, you should be okay to just click the save button.
