For some reason my characters end up floating in the area (only when they are in the woods = uneven area) and controlling my characters via mouse click doesnt work either. However the keyboard control still works, but interestingly my characters are able to go through mountains, woods, even in the black areas, and I honestly dont know how to fix it. I already tried to clean my registry files, updated my drivers, even uninstalled and reinstalled the game but nothing worked.This problem didnt occur the first time i played DAO, just recently so i dont think any patch is at fault; it is like the game itself doesnt recognize that there are woods/stones/whatsoever in the way, and thats also why it looks like the characters are floating, or depending on the movements even disappearing in the floor. If anyone has a solution for this I'd really appreciate it because it is really annoying OTL //edit: some screenshots of the problem Edited April 20, 2014 by Shimotsuki
Shimotsuki Posted April 20, 2014 Author Posted April 20, 2014 No, i thought this was the problem too so i removed any mod, reinstalled the game, yet this error still occurs. it is really getting on my nerves because thanks to this glitch i cant finish the kokari wilds quest...
Shimotsuki Posted April 21, 2014 Author Posted April 21, 2014 (edited) I'm sorry for the double post but i have just noticed this graphic error also appears in cut scenes such as this one: Since the error is not fixed while re-installing dragon age origins, but neither by completely deleting and reinstalling my graphic card drivers (I have NVIDIA Geforce, but for a few days the Experience menu doesnt load thanks to Shadow Player), i assume the problem might lie with a .dll-file? meagermantis Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 (edited) Man, I'm having the same problem. :( and NO ONE seems to know what is going on. Google is useless here. It seems like its a very isolated problem. :( So far, I've tried updating drivers, uninstalling all mods/DLC, uninstall and reinstall... still getting this weird glitch...
