MadTod
Hello, I'm making my own armour/clothes for Fallout New Vegas and I want to use the boots from the Merc Charmer Outfit for the female version but I want to mirror the left boot for the right one so that the outfit is symmetrical. Is this possible in Blender or maybe NifScope. Any help would be very much appreciated, thanks. Edited April 21, 2014 by TanisDuncan
M48A5
I think it would be easier to do in Blender than NifSkope. You could try removing the can and rope from the right boot. Or locate a mod with the type of boots you want to use and substitute them. That is what I did when I found the high heel platform boots. Jonas has a good collection of boots in his Kristina's Closet mod. http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/47059
MadTod
It's not the canteen that I don't like about the boot - I was going to keep that - It's that fact that the buckle is on the inside which makes it look like two left boots. And would the boots from the mod you mentioned work with the vanilla body (without re-shaping them) as I don't use a body replacer. If it would be possible to mirror the boot in Blender, how would I do it.
M48A5
I never noticed the buckles on the boots. I have never done any mirroring in blender, but I imagine it would be possible. There is a manual for Blender available somewhere online. I know, because I have it, I just don't remember where I downloaded it. As far as the boots in Kristina's Closet working with the vanilla body, I doubt that you have feet and ankles in the vanilla boots. As long as the boot tops line up with the lower legs and you parent and weight them to the skeleton, there should not be a problem.
MadTod
I spent a while looking for tutorials to no avail so I decided to play around with Blender myself to see if I can find out how.Turns out it's pretty simple, you just click on the boots, go to the object tab next to the view and select tabs, go down the list click mirror and then X Local. I've managed to mirror it but in the G.E.C.K. and in-game the is no texture on the mirrored boot and when I walk the mirrored boot follows the original one.
