Razh2211
Funny, I read each post, and somewhere around the middle, I got the idea that we could play as that child too. It would certainly feel more like Baldur's Gate, that's for sure. I'm having trouble imagining how it would be incorporated into the sequel. I think it would be easier to put it into an expansion, so the devs can make a seqel without worrying about possible plot holes. I just hope we don't get conclusion about it in a goddamn book. I love reading books, but this I want to play.
gobravo
its very interesting to know what happen to the child too.half man half god whit the power of Morrigan mother...make you wonder
sparks454alive
Although, having Morrigan come blasting into your home(wherever you start out), and asking for your assistance in a "rather delicate situation", involving a "rogue" teenager, from the previous storyline, would make for an interesting starting point. Playing as said "god" would be way to contrite, impossible to assertain your specs, and just plain ridiculous, from a RPG standpoint, sorry. TGBlank
Well, being god baby is an issue because:1) you would be forcibly human or human-looking, at least until the god-baby powers kick in.2) you're Schrodinger's baby, you may or may not exist depending on the decisions of the previous game. rayman77
I finished the game a few minutes ago and I'm pleased with the Morrigan ending I received, and what's odd is that the impregnated-Morrigan-leaving-but-feeling-guilty ending was more satisfying than the hero-and-Leliana-traveled-the-world-until-the-gray-warden-became-a-ghoul-and-ate-her ending. Glad I modded the game so I could see both. I also played so Loghain was given a chance at redemption (and actually killed the archdemon before the cutscene kicked in), with the bonus of Alistair getting executed for all his whining. Glad I did it, even though it made Natalie Port-...er, Anora the sole regent. I learned to avoid horny French elves with Gary Busey teeth at all costs. I learned that one shouldn't deal in a peoples politics if their arms dangle down to their knees. I learned that big smelly dogs are big and smelly. I learned that Optimus Prime lives underground, next to an anvil. I learned that all women in fantasy medieval worlds have D-cups. I learned that a goody-two-shoes mage that can effortlessly heal any battle wound won't do squat to help a bunch of sick elves. I learned that the Space Bar is my friend and the ability to freeze time is the greatest bestest magic power of them all. I learned that if your holstered weapons are so cold they leave a trail of snow behind you when you run, no one else will notice. I learned that digital sex gets old fast. I learned that if a Gray Warden ever comes to my house, they will ask me pointless questions and loot the place. I learned to never partake in a ritual that involves my lips touching a 'taint'. I learned that sexy women with rotting teeth aren't sexy. I learned that real friends don't just stand there while an ogre beats you into a bloody pulp. I learned that love means giving someone gifts and listening to them talk about pointless crap. I learned that collecting paperwork you never read is an Achievement. *sighs* And now to bed. AMDGuy64
I think/hope the plot will be continued before that since Bioware commented saying they plan a 2 year window of DLC & expansions plus they said you could play past the end of the game eventually with one of the expansions. I'll have to google later to find my sources but that was also months ago so things could of changed aside from the 2 year plan. I really do not expect much with EA being involved. I'm sure we're going to see 1 or more $5 DLC every month till DAO2 :( Like you said though i really, really hope they continue the story of Morrigan b/c I'm curious to know what happens or what options we might be given to like hunt her down or send out a patrol of guards to hunt her down, unlock a hidden quest of what her intentions were with the child. I'm sure Bioware will do something interesting with it eventually.
ThePearl
The kid thing would be fun if you were just a normal kid and stuff happens. You don't have god powers nor do you know about them, and depending which ending you got you will get a different ending in this game, like if you didn't die you can meet your dad or something? I am really bad at figuring out things like this in my head I am sorry :P But I want Morrigan back! She was awesome, gotta love her personality and wish there were people that sarcastic/ironic/whatever in real life.
Stormwind32
See I will not miss Morrigan or any of the characters in DA. Nothing against them, just that in a new game I want everything to be new. I hope it is far enough in the future or past to make the choices in this game irrelevant. I never really liked Alistair, Eamon, Teagan, Anora or Loghain and would not like to deal with any of them again. The fact that I saw Alistair in the expansion trailers does not endear me to buying it. Even if I didn't make him King, I imagine Anora would take his place in those conversations. Getting involved in dwarven politics is another big no-no. Those guys drove me crazy. At first I felt guilty for shield bashing the little people, but by the end of the game I had Morrigan roasting them all in infernos. Given a chance, I would probably do to the Deshyrs what the Quanari do to mages. I still can't believe I had to uncover their holy grail just so they can decide who is king. You'd think they would have someone who performs the king's duties while its being decided....like a vice-president or something (or whatever the royal equivalent would be). For DA2 I would like to see a prequel, not a sequel. The first emergence of darkspawn and defeating the first blight would be an amazing game. Also, I would like be able to expel any party member whenever I wish, and no characters I am forced to align with because of magical landsmeet powers. Basilkus
I laughed my ass off at Rayman's " I Learned" list, but i would also like to continue it with a couple adds. I myself learned that bow's don't really need strings to work. I myself learned that Keith Richards is avare the curative effect of ashes since he sniff'd his dad I myself learned that an estimated number of at least 5000 men is easily hidden in a 1 hectare camp I myself learned NOT to take a rest. I myself learned that every thug or bandit is always accompanied by a dim-witted idiot I myself learned that every foreigner seems to think that Ferelden smells of wet dogs
tinylewtgriffon
The last couple of nights, I've been up since about 5am playing the game and last night when I beat it, I was so bothered by the ending (Morigan and Baby). I'm not sure why I'm bothered, I just am and I'm hoping that a DLC will be your character going after her
