Why so little enchantment slots?

It's a good question, but one might also ask why there is so little variety in weapons in DAO. It will be remedied very soon with mods, thankfully. Hopefully BioWare wasn't just counting on the modding community to fill in the gaps though.

Whatever you do, its always wrong.

 

Bioware has stated YEARS before the release that DA will be a low magic setting, i.e. enchanted items will be rare. Back then, MANY people applauded that.

 

Now it is this way, and ... guess what. Other people COMPLAIN about the very same thing now.

 

Whatever you do, its ALWAYS wrong.

low magic setting does not mean jsut a couple of models and textures for the entire game

there can be alot more different models of armor and weapons and still be a low magic setting

and it is BS that it is a low magic setting when there are mages everywhere, demons everywhere etc etc

Oh, dont get me wrong - I'm big fan of high magic settings and definitely prefer them.

 

But that Dragon Age will be low magic was announced years ago already.

 

The crucial point is IMHO if Warriors and Rogues can keep up with Mages without having highly enchanted equipment.
