Is this a load order problem? [some texture replaced by big exclamation marks]

Hi, I begin to say that, unfortunately, I begun the game with all the mods already installed, so I don't know if it could be a problem caused by mods (or load order) or maybe caused during the installation of the vanilla game.

Until now the "exclamation mark" problem affects only
- kitchen Knife
- straight razor
- rebar club
but it could be affecting other weapons I have still not seen.

This are my mods in the load order

Since it could be a problem caused by a texture mod, my texture mods are
- NMC's
- since I have FOOK, I think I have Weapon Restexture Project too
- Beware of the girl type 3
- breezes new vegas
- fallout character overhaul
- wasteland clothing hires texture
- i could have forgotten someone else but not important I think

please help, and thank you for the attention

I haven't played F:NV for a long time, but as far as I remember "!" means missing meshes for an item and shouldn't have anything to do with load-order. You ought to check if all meshes are in the correct folders!

Hope this helps.

Njorunn is right- an exclamation mark is a missing mesh. Since it's only some weapons, check your mods which affect them such as WMX, PN and FOOK.

Also your load order is horrifying :( Run it through BOSS for the basics and anything unsorted, manually adjust into like categories (weapon mods with weapon mods, companions with companions, etc).

Ya your load order is pretty bad... Try BOSS or its new form LOOT... i've noticed from using loot that i had considerable amount of performance boots in some areas of the game vs using boss but i'm not sure if its the new system for the load order that causes this.

thanks!

I have the Convergence mod (the mod that make work together FOOK, PJ, EVE, WMX, WME and AWOP), so I tried absolutely not to disturb the load order suggested in the convergence readme, and for the same reason I didn't run BOSS.

Anyway, I'm not an expert in modding, but I think that it will not happen nothing irreversible if I try to replace the mesh files of the objects that give me the errors with the vanilla ones, right (obviously I will save for backup the current ones)?
The problem is: where I find the vanilla ones?

Yes, the best move would be uninstalling some mods, but that would mean uninstalling and reainstalling even the convergence mod and all other mods, since the installing method and sequence that makes work everything together was a little stressful (at least for me XD), and I wish not to go through it again (I'd prefer keep the exclamation markers XD)

anyway thanks again, do you know maybe if there is some kind of trick with steam to take some file from a game installation (such as vanilla meshes) without uninstalling and re-installing the game?
