Weapon Mod: The Manado, from Xenoblade Chronicles

I agree that this should be a mod. Sure, it may be not lore friendly but, it feels like it is something the deep elves would create. I am in agreement that this could work. Also, I have played the game and beat it 3 times. Do not forget the True Monado, It looks and is, much better so there should be a mod that implements the monado's I,II,and III.Also, there are many replica monadoes. So, this should be a mod.

I agree 100% and I'm not really all that good at making mods but as I said in my last reply, I managed to find a good monado model since I'm not good at modeling 3d items myself. And I agree, this mod idea does have plenty of potential but is going to take plenty of work. Right now, I suggest we start from the bottom up, the main item of the mod, the Monado.

Thank you Xaiver. If the monado I does not work then try the Monado III. Mostly because it looks like the seven branched sword from Japanese legend.

Have no idea what that is but let's do it. Some info on the monado can be found at xenoblade.wikia.com/wiki/Monado

I would use data from the actual game.. If my game would actually run above 15 fps on my laptop's Dolphin emulator. Just another reason why I want an actual copy of the game but can't get one for a reasonable price.

That's because it doesn't fit at all to the world of Skyrim.

Isn't there a term for that? It just means it isn't lore-friendly. Plenty of mods are like that. How does Lightning's Sword fit into Skyrim, or all the beautifil women mods? Don't say such silly things.

I totally agree. All the Spider Man and Star Wars mods are in the same manner ridiculous. But your weapon suggestion isn't just lore-unfriendly it's not even a weapon at all! It's a chunky piece of metal painted red with a nonsensical hole in it that's lightyears away from being functional.

I really hope that no talented modder here wastes his time by following your request.

Ik this post was light years ago, but I'm going to reply anyway. If you would know anything about the monado, it doesn't look like that when it's active. That's like calling a sheathed sword a chunky piece of metal. Btw, there are plenty of unrealistic designs for swords and armors in skyrim, that make absolutely no sense whatsoever.

All right Novem you should know it is not that simple to make a mod. It is not as simple as going to the creation kit implementing a texture, stats, arts, animations, etc. Take Falskaar for example. That took a few weeks to make. Story Characters Locations Events Quests and sidequests etc. Every modder knows that and gladly takes their time to make the mods.

I'm looking up how to rip models and textures from the official Xenoblade iso because.. Well, laziness. Also, any good ideas on where the dungeon containing the Monado should be for the beta release of the Xenoblade mod? And I will just ignore the existence of any hate replies.

Also, I'm going to be replacing the music in Skyrim with music from Xenoblade because, 100% of Xenoblade's music is just amazing.

EDIT: Nevermind.. It's 11 pm and I'm bored.

Who cares if it's lore-friendly or not? Don't like the mod, don't download it. Don't like the idea, don't download it when/if it comes to fruition.

That said, I've never even played Xenoblade Chronicles and I want this.
