kailieann
Normally using strength to bash open locks has a chance of breaking whatever is inside the locked container. I would love to see this implemented as a balance feature. I would say it would almost be necessary. Given the abundance of Warriors on your team, and the fact that there's not a whole lot else to spend their talent points on, any other approach would render the Rogue/Mage abilities useless. creamneuron
I wonder why there is no mod for that. Open chests (and doors) with "brute force" would be fantastic! I hate it - every 5 minutes a chest wich i cannot open because i'm not a rogue. That would really improve the game a lot. In NWN2 you could smash open chests and doors. There was a chance that the items in the chests will break when smashing it, and that is a good idea. This would definitly be a top-mod. =)
Kaerar
Actually if you give DA:O a cursory comparison to the previous Bioware games, it is seriously dumbed down. The huge lack of items and Uniques. The Huge lack of interactive options (bashing locks, needing stealth, etc...) and dialogue options. The amount of broken quests (especially in Orzamar). I am frankly disappointed with the execution of the game and if it weren't for the JB Texture mod and the good storyline (and Morrigan) I probably wouldn't be playing this game anymore. The combat has issues too, but then it's been clunky ever since BG and NWN.
