Yes, there is a series of console commands to reset a faction to neutral versus the player. The purpose was for a remedy to when the Outcasts turn hostile during the main story, so you'll need the faction ID of the slavers and possibly that of Paradise Falls residents to make the commands work properly. If you're comfortable searching the GECK or the wiki to find those ID's, I have the commands written somewhere, I just need to find them in the stack of papers on my desk.

thank you! i'll head to the wiki now. gotta say tho i've never seen IDs for faction there buy here's hopin. i have a couple disguise mods i got just for this problem, and they work, but i keep reading that some of those mods can cause permanent faction changes that can cripple the game. yes, please list those commands. thank you!!

Remember this is for the Outcasts so you need to change the faction Id's to that of the Slavers.

player.removefromfaction 00033089 - removes the player from the Outcast Enemy Faction

clearfactionplayerenemyflag 0001d3ff - clears the list of players crimes committed against the Outcasts

setally 0001b2a4 0001d3ff 0 0 - resets Player Faction and Outcast Faction as mutually friendly

I've had to do this against both the Outcasts and the Warhammer Space Marines (mod), so it works and sticks through saves, unless you piss them off again.

I really hate to give you something that I have not tested, but after digging around and being insanely careful not to click anything, this is what I came up with. Needless to say, MAKE A COPY OF YOUR SAVEGAME FIRST.

player.removefromfaction 0002fa2a - removes the player from the SLAVER ENEMY Faction

setally 0001b2a4 00037135 0 0 - resets Player Faction and PARADISE FALLS Faction as mutually friendly

setally 0001b2a4 00028d95 0 0 - resets Player Faction and SLAVER Faction as mutually friendly

Replying to an ancient thread in case anyone still needs another solution (unfortunately the one above didn't work for me). This thread shows up first in most of my Google searching last night.

Anyways, I guess i killed a Slaver inside the Pitt and now Grouse and them hate me. So nothing worked to fix it

What worked for me was "resetallfactions" in console.

Outcasts still love me (and give me ammo), people are kinda rude in megaton and rivet (but I am slowly enslaving them all anyways, so that's okay) and my own turret in my house attacked me, but otherwise I've had no problems.

So if anyone desperately wants their slavery back, they reset all factions. Then run around and make sure it you're okay with everything.

Good luck, keep slaving people!

umm, question, what does "slaving people" mean?

I am a newbie and new to Fallout 3 so please dont mind me

Also, Lucy West said "I heard about your little killing spree in Arefu, stay the hell away from me"

Actually, I just killed Allan cos he turned hostile and the people of Arefu still love me :P

So. . . . . is there a solution to this?

I dont want Lucy to hate me

I'm reviving this thread as I didn't find a solution anywhere else online. This is how I revived and made Pronto, in the Lock and Load store of Paradise Falls, allied again using console commands (without resetting ALL factions); it's very similar to WoogieMonster's proposed method. Afterwards, I was able to revive and speak to most of the other key named characters around Paradise Falls.

First, if you have no clue about using the console, read up on http://fallout.wikia...onsole_commands for some general knowledge.

The console commands we're going to use (most seen on the gamebryo wiki) are:

-prid <ref_id> - set an id target

-player.moveto <ref_id> - move player to NPC

-disable, enable - delete NPC from the game / make NPC reappear

-kill - make NPC die

-resurrect - resurrect NPC

-setally <factionID1> <factionID2> (0/1 optional) (0/1 optional) - sets a faction as an ally with another specified faction. 0=Ally 1=Friend.

-player.removefromfaction <factionID> - removes the player from a faction

Based on the above commands, we're going to need a reference ID and some faction IDs.

I get my reference IDs from the fallout wiki. I'm going to use Pronto as an example, his reference id is found on second to last row of the table on the right side of the page here: http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Pronto.

The ref id number is 00030d13.

For faction IDs, I found a good list of them here: http://fallout.gamep...lout_3_factions. The Faction IDs we're going to use are:

0001B2A4 - "PlayerFaction"

000179D8 - "ParadiseFallsResidentFaction"

00037135 - "ParadiseFallsSlaverFaction"

000710BA - "ParadiseFallsSlaverHOSTILEFaction"

Now for the actual commands using Pronto's reference ID and the faction IDs above as an example.

First, I moved to where Pronto had been killed (inside lock and load). His body nowhere in sight (I think he exploded into tiny pieces), so I had to target him using the ref id and then I completely reset him (following the example on the gamebryo wiki). Pronto came to life as a hostile and I killed him again (in game) with my player. The console commands used to do this were:

player.moveto 00030d13

prid 00030d13

disable

enable

kill

resurrect

Next I removed my player from a faction, changed my player's ally status with others and resurrected Pronto again. You can see which numbers are which using the list above. These are the commands in the order I typed them:

player.removefromfaction 000710ba

setally 0001b2a4 00037135 0 0

setally 0001b2a4 000179d8 0 0

prid 00030d13

resurrect

Pronto spawned again as an ally and I was able to talk to him and pick up the unmarked "Economics of Violence" quest immediately. Afterwards I headed outside into Paradise Falls proper and started reviving people manually by opening up the console, clicking on their corpse to select them and using the resurrect command.

***Note***

I believe the reason WoogieMonster’s commands didn’t work is because he was only referencing one Paradise Falls specific faction. He suggested removing the player from the general “SlaverEnemyFaction” (0002FA2A) and setting allied status for “SlaverFaction” (00028D95 ), which are for generic slavers (I think the ones you find randomly in the wasteland), instead the Paradise Falls Slaver specific factions I used.

***End Note***

Good luck to those in the future that are struggling with hostile factions. This is what worked for me and should be applicable to problems with other factions as well. I don't know of a way to list an NPC's associated factions so the tricky part is the guesswork of going through the gamepedia faction list and trying to figure out which faction IDs you need to tinker with for a given character.
