Adras
I think I have decided to continue working on my mod (Ravenhold Castle pics) until Oblivion comes out, and at that time I will take a break from modding while I play Oblivion. However, after I feel I have gotton a good enough feel of Oblivion that I'm comfortable with my ability to mod for it, then I will re-create my mod from Morrowind to Oblivion. Since I have dual monitors set up on my computer, I will have one CS open on each screen and hopefully get it done. As I said, most people probably dont really care about it anymore, but I'm just letting everyone know what I'm doing with it.
Malchik
I'm sure that if it is a good mod we will enjoy playing it. Don't worry about whether we care about it. It's your project and you do. That is important. If you didn't it would be a crap mod. It might be a good idea to carry it across to Oblivion but you'll need to check out what is different in case of clashes. Keep us informed anyway.
Baraka
I have loved hearing about Ravenhold Castle from other sources, I didn't know who was making it, Adras. Are you making such a large project all on your own or with helpers? I was on a team that attempted an Island mod, but the team didn't hold together. Malchik is right that you should keep on modding because it pleases you. I am presently leisurely working on a mod I just call "The Christmas House outside Suran" because every year before Christmas, I get festive modding ideas, but never get them done in time. So for all of 2006, I will mod my Christmas House. I will no doubt be playing Oblivion long before Christmas 2006, but I am just making it for me really at the holidays ... or perhaps to shoot Christmas cards for the family from. I cannot wait to play Oblivion - but even more I cannot wait to see its construction set!
Adras
You actually heard of my mod from other sources? Thats kind of surprising - in a good way. I didnt know that many people were interested in it. I was actually planning on getting a screenshot of how big my island is, and I will go and do that right now so people can see it. As far as I know, only 4 or 5 people have tested/played it. What I really need to get moving on is interior cells and the quest, but I'm sure it will come along.. Thanks for the support. Baraka
I heard of Ravenhold Castle from 2 different sources...#1 was Eriadan at The Elder Vaults and he was raving about how excellent it was as he had seen it so far, which was very high praise because normally he is a stickler for Quest Mods - preferring dungeons, mazes & questing is usually foremost with him. The other place I heard very good things about it & saw some screenies, was the website I was getting all the beautifly creative modernish clothing from and also they were building The Glory Road MW mod as a team that had new NPC actions like dancing in it....but it went down for awhile, & I am so tired I cannot think of their website name right now. It was actually a hub that was a combination of websites by very talented modelers. Anyway, I heard very good things about Ravenhold Castle from very talented people, some excitement about it's eventual release & loved the screens I saw.....so yeah, I am excited about it too & would love to see anything you want to share. It looks clean, well thought out & made with love! :D
Adras
Awesome ^_^ I got a screen shot of the size of the island compared to the main island. Keep in mind, it isnt anything like the size of Sea of Destiny or anything, since it is just me and one other person doing it, but it is pretty decent sized in my opinion. Here is a screenie
