Missing Mage Robe Texture

I went a bit mod-crazy, and yet have found no issues while using OBMM. However, certain robes, mainly the Mythic Dawn robes and Mage Robes (for females only) creates giant purple streaks that cause headaches galore. I have no idea which mod is causing this, and Archive Invalidation (whatever that does [update now]) didn't help. Any ideas of which mods replace those original robes? Any help is appreciated :D

Without knowing what you installed it's kind of difficult to say, but my first guess is HGEC Skimpy Replacements.

How to proceed depends on whether you have a new mesh that needs the texture, and like/want to keep it, or if you just want to go back to vanilla.

Going back is easiest. Mytyic Dawn stuff is from Vanilla Oblivion and is contained in the .bsa file. All you need to do is find and delete the \data\meshes\clothes\mythicdawnrobe folder. Without it there, Oblivion will just use what's in it's original .bsa file.

If you like the new mesh and want to keep it, that may be more tricky. Your first step is to narrow down the possibilities. I save copies of all mods I install, so that if something like this happens I have something to refer to. Did you, by chance, save the original archives, or mods? If so, start looking through them to find one that has the path I indicated.

Try looking for a texture folder \data\textures\clothes\mythicdawnrobe. If there is one, then you need to use ArchiveInvalidation to tell Oblivion to use the new texture, or simply delete the folder; that will force Oblivion to use it's default texture (this may or may not work, but is worth a try--providing you make a backup before deleting).
