Things related to mods however usually go in the General Mod Section.Things in the User News could be like you've found something about the next ES or have a plan that is related to the game, but not necessarily about mods. You can put a mod-announcement there, but as there are other places for that it'll be probably moved..besides..that place usually is cleaned up quite often.
