Sideways Doors

I occasionally run into doors that are positioned at a 90 degree angle to where they're supposed to be. The first couple of times I saw this was in Tollingbrook House and Wey Suburbs. I thought the modder had done something wrong so I went into the CS to fix it, only to find that the doors were perfect, not misplaced at all, and certainly not at a 90 degree angle.

 

I now have sideways doors in Bruma, Chorrol, KNOTN, and a few other places.

 

Does anybody have any idea what is doing this?

I think I might have heard something like this before, but don't remember.

 

Offhand, I would be tempted to think that it's due to some change a mod makes to the base door object definition used in those locations. I would start there. You can find out what mod changes those doors by first looking to see which doors are affected, and then creating your own .esp which alters those forms (just adding a character to the name will suffice). You can then make a conflict report and look for any mods which conflict with the mod you made. Obviously, if when looking to see what doors are affected you notice that other uses of that same base object are not affected, then this is not the issue and you're back at square 1.

 

Other than that, you might want to find a location that is reliably bugged, and then go through disabling one mod at a time, starting a new game and using console to get to that location, to see if you can find the responsible mod.
