constant CTD's. help appreciated! :D

Spike definitely isn't used for the newest version of Immersive armors. You can check which mods use it as a master in Wrye Bash, if the mods are just patches for immersive armors they are out of date!

If your deleting mods, make sure to use skyrim script cleaner or start a new game or the CTDs will never stop. (Use the one posted by the guy at the top of the page, it is by far the best)

Are the CTDs random?

used that script cleaner... no scripts deleted in my new game save file...

the CTD's appear random at first but now i begin to suspect that something is causing my skyrim to wreak havoc upon itself every 3-4 minutes. so no, not random. frequent even.

deleted my entire skyrim stuf according to this http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Make_Skyrim_Vanilla_Again guide.

this time i did however create a backup file right after completing them steps, so reverting back wont be a problem anymore.

getting really desperate here. already have 520 hours into skyrim, never and i mean NEVER have i had this problem during those entire 520 hours(except for mod incompatibility related crashed that is, altough those were fixed very fast). updated my post with the new mod list, and the first log. wil get the second log in aswell asap

SPIKE.ESM is needed for immersive weapons btw. crash on startup without it.

If you are seeing that with immersive weapons, you are using an old version.

Make sure you have version 1.5 of Immersive weapons, 7.1 of immersive armours, and 2.2.0 of BOSS.

A few more things--you need to clean your mods and DLCs with TES5Edit.

From Hoth's sticky post om IA

Load Order:
Hothtrooper44_Armor_Ecksstra.esp
Hothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.esp

Did you add all those mods one at a time, run BOSS and test? That is the best way to identify a problem when starting.

You also have some other messages abotu things to be fixed (I'm looking at the list a couple posts back, apologies if that is not your most up to date one.)

ill be checking on that tomorrow... or later this weekend... i got all the stuf correct(as far as i know) and know the game starts to randomly ctd on startup(well.. not really random... more like every dam time...)

even considering the de-installation of every game, and every other thing i dowloaded. thus practically rebooting my pc....

DarkNemesis.esp Active

Warning: Contains unexpected (or out of order) records. A compatibility patch fixed and cleaned with TES5Edit can be obtained here. (Compatibility Patch)

This needs deleting to be honest, that warning doesn't sound great!

Do you have the sounds of skyrim patches? It needs a shed load of patches to work properly

still find it very very very weird that OFFICIAL skyrim AND DLC's have dirty edits... i mean..... shouldn't they be cleaned up by the devs???? -_-

will uncheck every mod and then slowly recheck them like i did countless times before whenever i had incomp. crashes

Haha, yeah well. They work fine with vanilla skyrim but as soon as you add more plugins the dirty edits create issues.

Instead of Sounds of Skyrim I recommend Skyrim Audio Overhaul 2. I use it, brilliant mod you won't look back!

Edit: before you check each mod individually, download compatibility patches, they are there for a reason bud.

One by one won't work as it isn't one mod that's the cause of most CTDs, it's compatibility

as stated previously i am well known with modding(atleast the dowloading, installing and problem solving part) so i know that mod by mod checking won't work. never stated that i would be doing that, altough i do understand that saying:"uncheck every mod and then slowly recheck them like i did countless times" could cause you to think that i meant 1 by 1 haha. i actually work with groups of 5-6 mods each time. never the less i do understand your point. and as far as i know: i have comp. patches alreaddy for mostly annything that really needs those patches, again i am well aware what could happen otherwise. going to do all of that right now, and i'll be coming back to you guys to let you know the result :D

p.s. thanks for pointing out to me that there is a better alternative for SoS :D. two questions remain though: 1. is it safe to keep using alternate start- Live another life?

2. what do you advice with dirty edits? that clean all function or going by them 1 by 1? 'cause that seems to be days work :P
