minimonster
Hi. I have always had a problem promoting myself, so my 'Grand Opus' has gone mostly unnoticed as of the last release. I have had 6300 views, and only 200 downloads. The previous release from a year before had 17,200 views and 760 downloads. I know that it is not to the liking of many people, and in the year and a half since I did the first release, many people have moved on from Skyrim. As it currently stands, it is solely a 'tourist destination' with no quests or talking NPC's. It is however complately navmeshed and populated. So to the Question: the current release has a masssive main temple and four large side wings. I have now created a stand-alone retexturing of all architecture, added another large temple, a massive outdoor complex with six temples that have three interiors, and a very unique in the Skyrim modding world massive 'Cloud City' that has eight interior 'labortories'. Below are screens from the new work: http://static-2.nexusmods.com/15/images/110/1633970-1396414803.jpg (there have been some additions to the above) http://static-4.nexusmods.com/15/images/110/1633970-1396322973.jpg and http://static-1.nexusmods.com/15/images/110/1633970-1396286922.jpg I have been tempted to release the mod highlighting the Cloud City instead of the main temple, but want to keep everything intact instead. Back to the Question: Since I did the re-release (which I felt was very much justified as I re-structured the temple complex to be *slightly* more GPU friendly...) almost four months ago and have received some wonderful feedback, I now feel that this rather huge update wil go largely unnoticed. How do I get my mod more noticed? There is nothing else remotely similar to what I have created, but I also have to warn potential users that it is FAR from framerate friendly... Suggestions? HELP!!! p.s. - I apologize about the huge images, I do not know how to properly insert images into a forum post...

bben46
This looks very impressive and worthy of the Dwemer elites. I am currently not playing Skyrim, but plan on loading it onto my new more powerful system ( if I ever get around to finishing it) and will download it now so I will have it already.
xauss
my first impression from the description is of an impressive megalithic construction that will make my old laptop cry, but with no rhyme or reason so you want to know how to better promote it.... "I have been tempted to release the mod highlighting the Cloud City instead of the main temple" - yep call it 'Cloud City and the Temple of Aghemmor Nakh' the description page is not friendly for the tldr generation...' what is it? what does it do? why would i want it?'concise and sweet would help - a 30 second scan didn't tell me what it is for - or why i'd want it "As it currently stands, it is solely a 'tourist destination' with no quests or talking NPC's" - that i feel is the nub... a reason for it Edited May 24, 2014 by xauss
Ironman5000
Ye as impressive as it looks, without some sort of function (or boobies  ) it's not going to entice loads of users into downloading for the purpose of just walking around it or looking at it. Also i'm assuming that due to the large amount of static objects used to make this, there would likely be performance issues to cope with.
