Ball11
No, it's still crashing! I ran a patch through ReProccer and when that failed I tried running the SUM.jar to perform a patch, neither are allowing the game to run. Anyone know what I should check for next? When running SUM go into sum settings turn (RUN BOSS off) (untick it ) then select all reproccers you have then click the button force all patches or what ever it is called, then run it... also fix your load order before running it. Make bashed patch first then run the reproccers. Also IF you do use BOSS make sure you edit the load order manually as BOSS leaves any unrecognized plugins at the bottom of your load order. MCChase
So it's creating the patch but you CTD when you start the game? What Mod manager are you using and do you have tesvedit? No crash to desktop, when I go to load a game it hangs on the loading screen where you have an object or NPC in view, the only way to quit Skyrim is through the task manager where it is labeled as not responding. I'm using either the nexus Mod Manager or I'm booting through the SKSE_loader in my Skyrim root directory - either method yields the same crash. piperman123
Not sure why you'd need to not run boss when you patch but like Ball11 said, you need to check force all patches. I don't think the game would start if your patches hadn't ran properly though. You are using boss to start with right?

OK, bare with me here, as you probably realised by now I'm a total noob with this! I entered SUM, turned off RUN BOSS, but where are these ReProccers I can select? Also, in my plugins list on Nexus Mod Manager I have no bashed patch on the list?

I launch BOSS GUI and select run BOSS, it then gives me a local host page in my browser stating it recognises all the plugins and has no errors or warnings. piperman123
You're not using Wrye Bash (I'm guessing from what you've said so far) so you wouldn't have a bashed patch which is made through Wrye Bash (another mod manager which people also use for making bashed patches along side their Mod Manager of choice). Gdgd, so your'e using BOSS and your load order is correct. Sum runs Boss to get the right load order for your skyproc patches or at least what boss thinks is the correct order (I have no issues with Boss's default order). When you start SUM it should have two options on the left; Patchers list and sum options. The one it should start in; Patchers List, should show all your SkyProc 'Patchers' and here you should select all the ones you wish to use/run. If you had Wrye Bash we could find out if there is anything wrong with your patches (Wrye Bash gives you a lot more info regarding the health of your esps) and a Bashed Patch is needed if you have multiple leveled lists and you should really have it anyway as it addresses a lot of issues. If you are willing to go grab it, it's really as simple as running Wrye Bash and then clicking create bashed patch. AltreU
How did you manage to run Reproccer as an Admin?
MCChase
How did you manage to run Reproccer as an Admin? There was no option to, so I ran all my Java executables as Admin and then opened the SUM.jar/Reproccer.jar - they all worked fine after that. My game, however, isn't still. ------------------------------------------- Edit to avoid a double post; Thanks to Piperman giving me a bunch of help. I can now confirm that Wyre Bash checks out my .esps as fine, all my mods load without fault in TESVedit, I have made a bashed patch and am STILL getting crashes before the game loads a save. The game starts absolutely fine. I click on continue to load my save game and the loading screen appears (the one with in game music, a smoky background, a sentence or two of some lore and an NPC or object in view), this loading screen continues indefinitely and the only way to exit Skyrim is via task manager and ending the processes manually. I appreciate all the help I've got (not the first time this forums has dug me out of the proverbial) but I've still not got a solution to this one  - anyone else got any potential solutions for me? piperman123
Sorry, I was half asleep last time I replied to you. If you're just getting an infinate load screen you could try this. Also, I get load screens that last what seems like for ever but they do load eventually so I'm wondering how long you've actually left it and what hdd you have?
