Problem with looting, Have to force my way in

I'm having a problem with looting my kills and containers, it feels like I have to force my way into containers and corpse, and it takes about 10 to 15 seconds for the game to decide either what it's going to give me to loot or load the loot, and these damn delays are making hunting and looting no fun anymore!.. :wallbash:

 

Is there a fix or mod that stops this forced looting 10 to 15 second delay when looting?

It's stuff going on in the background.

 

 

Maybe the AI is freaked out

 

 

who knows

 

 

could be conflict related, you could always fix all that stuff

 

 

 

It could be npc's fighting in the area

 

 

 

 

It could be the cell buffer has poop in it

 

 

 

 

It used to happen to me, an I never really narrowed down the cause.

 

 

 

 

It's not good though, and I feel like it's inside your save game maybe

 

 

 

because the only thing I can think which fixed it, from when it was happening to me was starting a new game

 

 

which when I do that I usually get a new mod, or go into the FO3edit an check stuff out some more

 

 

 

So maybe that's in the cards for you

 

 

you could try a few privious saves an see, or a RAOTW (random A**hole of the wastes) a new game you start

that is just a test to see if you can duplicate the problem in a different game other than the save game you have

 

 

 

Then also you could just load up your save game , an when it starts doing that delayed loot thing

 

open the command ~ an type PCB

 

purge the cell buffer an then try to loot

 

not that I would know what to do after that

 

 

 

 

I think I've changed a few grapics settings since I had it too

 

 

 

but like I said I never narrowed it down to one thing, sorry man.

 

 

 

It sucks so bad doesn't it, I'd rather have that thing where the NPC heads get all tweeked sideways

or a npc that got thrown into the air at the speed of light an it stretchs the textures out 40 feet long.

 

 

 

I'd rather have a STD than have delated loot searching

 

 

because you click loot, an then you're sitting there like a doofus for 10 minutes

 

 

searously it was so bad....
