D0cR0ck
Last night after installing some mods my Skyrim began to crash at random intervals. Removing the new mods did not solve it so I went ahead and de-activated all mods and deleted/re-installed Skyrim to give myself a fresh slate. I currently have no mods installed (aside from Dawngaurd, Harthfire, Dragonborn and the official texture packs my load order is empty. I decided to do a test run of the new install and I still experience crashes. It is still at random intervals, sometimes after opening my inventory, sometimes after swinging a weapon. These crashes are recent and I have had the texture DLC since it came out, I dont think that is the issue.Any ideas as to what is causing this? Thanks,D0C Edit: Figured my PC Specs would be Helpful AMD Athalon II Tri-Core 3.5 GhzAMD Radeon HD 7750 1 GB VRAM DDR312 GB Corsiar DDR3 Ram Edited May 2, 2014 by D0cR0ck
D0cR0ck
Just to cover all bases I unchecked and deleted the HighResTexturePacks from the data section of the launcher. Within five minuets it crashed again. I just clean installed it, how can it be crashing already?

Skyrabbit
This may be a silly question but are you starting a new game or trying to use an existing save? The best thing to do is start a new game with no mods installed and then make a save once you have got through the whole Helgen thing. Keep this save as a backup to use after any re-install.Have a look at this link- http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Make_Skyrim_Vanilla_Again It may be helpful. Also, have a look at the second link at the bottom of my post. Lots of useful info!
vlaka
Follow the vanilla procedure to the letter and make sure to make an archive backup of it as instructed. Also grab the enboost and SSME :D
