80knots
I'm making a mod that adds a town. But the Inn owner sleeps in the renting bed instead of the one she's supposed too. In the AI package I made I set the "Location" for "Near Reference" and set her bed for the reference. Both beds are in the same cell, just different rooms. I can't figure this out!!! :wallbash:
DavidBudreck
You can try setting the radius much smaller, or give the bed you want her to sleep in a name, set it as persistant, and change the AI from near reference to a specific target. Many of the NPC's in the game use specific bed references like that.

DavidBudreck
I'm sorry, I didn't mean that literally using the Target tab. Use the Location Tab. Obviously check the "Location" box, then set the "Near Reference" Radio Button. From there, select the cell that you want her to sleep in. In the dropdown menu next to "Ref" select the bed you want her to sleep in. To be a valid reference, the bed must be a persistant reference. It is not required to have a name, but is much easier if it does. When giving objects Unique Reference Names, avoid starting the names with numbers. I actually got it just after my last post. I now have only one more problem. I made a wander package for the NPC that is supposed to run for the time not spent sleeping. But the NPC only stays in one area. About one step from the editor location. Got anything on that?
DavidBudreck
Make sure the radius is large. That sounds to me like you have "Near Editor Location" selected, with 0 radius, which is what is used to put shop owners behind the counter and stay there.
