"I tried to contact him, and hopefully he will be nice and allow this stand alone "patch" to stay on here so those who have Frostfall and other mods, can still enjoy the beauty of what Tropical Skyrim has to offer."

 

Terms of the original author (Soolie):

"you MUST contact me and obtain permission before uploading this mod to other sites or using its contents in your own mod."

 

If an author requires that you contact them before modifying/using their mod in a public release and you are unable to contact them then you MAY NOT proceed to upload your derivative work anyway. Not only does that go against the principle of allowing mod creators to retain control of their creations, but it is also against our rules:

 

All files uploaded must have been created by the uploader or used with permission from the original author of the content. Such permission must be indicated in the Readme text attached to the file and/or on the Description page (or in the Description field for images), and must be obtained in advance, before uploading the file. If you cannot provide proof of consent then your file will be removed and your account is likely to be banned.
