If you could live in any country...

I live in Scotland, so I might move across the border to England.

I have been to America on holiday like... seven times and loved it, so there's a possibilitie... Probably California or Florida...

I would consider going to Ireland, but with that "war", I'd think twice...

Strange... I seem to be the only one who'd want to move with food being one of the reasons in mind (besides possibly Mono...)...

Cuisine is quite international practically wherever you go nowadays (at least in modern civilization / first world nations)... if you don't like the local food, you can always import what you want, or go to a restaurant that does it for you.

:)

Well hey, at least it's cheaper when you actually go to the place where it is made directly. You haven't need to worry about import tariffs and other sorts of international forms of tax, and you don't have to deal with other shipping costs either. Like for example, it's cheaper to get lobster in Maine, than it is in other parts of the US because of shipping costs.

True, true... however, importing things isn't always necessary. You won't likely find a Chicago Deep Dish style pizza in Italy, but you probably wouldn't have any problems finding the ingredients locally to make your own.

India because, although it is still a developing country, has a long tradition of dialectic discourse and debate. Unlike most countries that unenthusiastically identify themselves as ‘multicultural’ or ‘free’, India can actually claim these ideals. It is a truly multi-ethnic and pluralist culture, with a democratic and secular government. It is one of the few places abroad where I can feel at home.

Alternatively, I would live somewhere in the Mediterranean. I find Greece to be very appealing, mostly for its classical legacy but also for its food and varied Mediterranean, alpine and Aegean climate.

Sweden or Finland :D Sweden because that's most of my heritage (other half is Italian and English) and Finland because I swear that place is the death metal capital of the world :D
