Multiple Accounts In One Household

I may not be looking in the right places or maybe my search skills suck but I can't seem to find an answer to this question. In a month or two I plan to move in with a friend at his house. He's currently not into modding or anything (Nor does he really know about/visit the Nexus site.) but with Nexus now supporting all games it's just a matter of time before a game we both play (Final Fantasy XIV) starts allowing user-made UI add-ons for their client. My question is when that time comes to pass if and if the Nexus begins hosting those UI mods how can one prove that two separate accounts from the same houshold under the same IP (Different computers but same internet connection.) belong to two different people? Is it something I should worry about? Again this might never happen, and it's a long distance away. However when/if it happens I want to be prepared so I don't log in one day and discover my account and his are both banned under the assumption they belong to the same person.

 

So, how could I go about proving it?

Hello and thanks for asking. Per the Terms of Service (link provided) I have quoted the applicable wording. If and when you move and your roommate makes an account please send a PM to the moderators so that we can add the info to the accounts (we will only need both your usernames.)

 

As you can see we can not differentiate computer to computer but only IP. So I would advise that you both familiarize yourself with the rules of this site and there will be no issues.

Accounts from the same household
If more than one person from the same household wishes to create an account then please report such intentions to our moderator team to avoid potential misunderstandings. Be aware that if a member of your household receives a ban and we have enough reason to believe that the user has created or is using another account your entire household may be blocked from accessing Nexus Mods to prevent that user from gaining access to the site.

 

Other points of interest (and I urge you to read the Terms of Service) are:

 

One account per person
Members are only allowed to be in possession of one account on the site. Members caught using more than one account will be regarded as attempting to exploit or circumvent features on the site and will have both their accounts banned. If you are experiencing problems with your account please contact the admins using the Contact Us links on the sites and we'll work to resolve the issue for you.

No account sharing
You also agree to never login to another account that does not belong to you. People caught sharing their accounts will have them banned from accessing the site and every attempt will be made by the administrators of the site to make sure you cannot create a new account. You agree to never give your password out to another user of the site outside of the administrators of the site for your protection and for validity reasons.
