Iamthelizardqueen
I am making a castle, it is my first time modding. and i leveled an area north of Bruma to do so. I placed the castle object onto the area i had flattened and saved. i went in game to make sure all was well and i found the leveled area, bit the castle was nowhere to be seen and all that was there was the previously placed foliage and rocks floating there. i can not figure out how to get rid of these unwanted objects and i can not figure out how to make my castle appear, can someone help me? inggrish
 Crikey, Im not sure how that has happened. If you are sure you placed the castle in the same mod file as you flattened the land and you have definately activated the file in data files to test, then I am not sure why it is not appearing. What model/object are you using for the castle exterior?

Anything which exists within a town worldspace (like Brumaworld) will not show up when you try to go there in game. Before making any changes to the landscape, you should always make sure that the area you are wanting to work on is not being modified by another mod. Sometimes, the easiest way to do this is to just compare the areas between what you see in the game (take a screenshot from the site from above (tlc)) with what you see in the CS. Other times, you may need to alter the cells first and run a conflict report in OBMM/Wyrebash to see what mods are also affecting that area. Additionally, if removing something like the tip of a mountain, your objects can often become hidden in the LOD mesh (looks like things do in the distance, but you can pass through it). The solution for this is to either pick a different site, raise up the land higher than the mesh, or generate a new LOD mesh for that quad (requires more than 2gb ram and may conflict with other mods that affect the LOD mesh).
