40 mods i intend to install

At the end of this post i'll throw a link to a picture of the bookmarked addons i intend to load into Oblivion when i get it in the next couple of weeks. Reading a lot up on the mods and mods in general i notice that there are some mods that you really have to load before others. Is there a method to the madness, or do i have to research every single one? I've decided against using any of the major major additions/changes except for a monster pack(aka i'm not going with OOO or others like it) until way down the road when i'm a veteran at playing and feel a bit bored.

I don't expect someone to look through and list each one in order for me, but if you notice a couple mods in there that i absolutely have to load before another, please tell

Hope i'm in the right forum, seems best for it even though theres no trouble yet :thanks:

I think you should reconsider OOO. This makes the game so much more pleasurable, immersive, and enjoyable. I will Never play Oblivion again without it. Waiting to install this one won't gain you anything, except a blander game.

It does make the game a little more difficult at the beginning, but, in Oblivion there is a difficulty slider that lets you set the game as easy or difficult as you want to make it...

First recommendation, Install them one at a time and test each one for compatibility before installing the next. The time you think you will save by installing a bunch of mods at once will be more than lost troubleshooting to figure out which one is causing the crash.

Be sure to get the latest patch and OBSE as they are Required for many mods. Get OBMM also, it makes working with mods so much easier.

I also recommend the unofficial patch. It fixes a lot of little bugs in the game.

And yes, you really should investigate each mod, as unless you do you will not know if something else is needed to make it work.

Thank you to each Post!

I've been reading the detailed description of OOO and may decide to change my mind by the end of reading it. I like the sound of many changes and theres only been a few that i wouldn't necessarily want to be changed so far.

I'd type each one out but I'm going to be busy for the next week(i probably won't even play oblivion until around Christmas) so i'll hold off on typin em out

I was afraid of the bben46. Oh well, in the end it looks like it will be well worth it. Thanks for the link-i saw it mentioned somewhere before and was going to go dig it out without knowing the name at all =)

You shouldn't have to type them out. They're bookmarked on something, right? You just need the facility to export bookmarks to html or text. Firefox certainly can do that and I'm sure other browsers will have similar functions.
