The boy almost gets to the top and falls again. This time he lands on one of the rocky teeth. It goes through his left shoulder. He pulls himself off and walks back towards the cliff muttering irritably to himself about spoiling another shirt. He sees you staring at him, shakes his head as if not believing you are there and begins to climb the cliff again.

He is certainly conspicuous. His lower garment consists of bright, lurid pink baggy trousers (pants in the US) caught at the waist and ankles with gold hoops. The shirt is an even more eye-battering shade with three-quarter length sleeves and an open neck. There is a great deal of gold embroidery around the neck and ends of the sleeves and a serious rip where the rock passed through. The boy's shoes are oddly elongated. They are gold and have toes that curl back on themselves. He also sports a small pink skull-cap.

The boy seems pink too, although that is probably down to the clothes. His eyes are dark brown and intelligent looking. His hair is jet black and cut as if a fitted cap. He is completely self-assured and convinced he will succeed in climbing up eventually. Perhaps the trough that seemed as if a dog wanted to get into the castle has another explanation entirely.

His habit of seeing you but quite clearly not believing you are actually there is a little disconcerting.

Ritz decides to wait and see what the kid does, if the 'monkey-boy' wants to try and climb up again, she'd be there to catch him, the sound of bones cracking when a person hits the ground is sickening and a reason enough to not let it happen again. She quickly places her backbag, bow and quiver to the ground so she'd be able to grab the kid if he falls again, excess weight would just get in the way of grabbing him well enough from a fall from great height. She calmly walks to the spot where the kid is climbing and waits to see if he intends to climb up and fall again or if he comes down like Mac had suggested.

The boy is so surprised to hear himself addressed he falls again, though not very far. He is completely unperturbed by the falling.

He stares at mac.

"You are real! Are the others real, too?"

His tone is one of total amazement.

OOC> I'm away until Monday and don't know what opportunities I'll have to post over the weekend. If I can I will.

"Yes, we're all real." Ritz replies to the kid. "I'll leave the talking with the kid to you guys. I'm going to explore the cave further on to see if there is anything of interest deeper." Ritz walks back to her equipment, picks it up and starts moving towards the cave, she lights up a lantern and takes her knife to her right hand in case there is something further inside that might not be too happy about her visit.

(OOC--> I don't think it'll be a problem, at least I'm patient enough to wait. We'll be here waiting till your return. Let's hope you can post something during the trip tho. :))

"I saw this strange thing". He points to the boat. "My name is Auriel and I don't usually come down to the beach. They don't like it. In fact I must get back before they know I've gone or they will be cross. Can you help me up?"

He sounds and behaves like a seven year old child.

Esha was staring at the child. He seemed so familar to her somehow. Perhaps it was the clothing though it seemed somewhat...old? Bu the forms and colors reminded her of her own.

Surely there was some strange magick at work here.

"Who is it that will be angry with you Child?" Esha asked him in a soft voice and gave him a smile.
