DragonDudeAW
Aldhelm decides he has seen enough of the temple exhibit, thanks the old curator, and proceeds back to find the others. He sees them leading a rather nervous and scared looking traveler out of the sword exhibit. Walking over to them, "Hello T'Skar, did u have any luck finding out about the swords? I think I may have found a reason for our temple visit."
RedPlague
He glances around then points to himself "Áni Stronghorse..was bitten by diseased rat while sleeping. Not have proper m-medicine, so had to go to closest city." He pauses for a moment to take a drink from his flask. "After finding cure, saw call for help. Met B-Bharat Desani he say come here...said Arminda Sagrami involved here. Said he think you need me..need muscle." Áni sighs and closes his eyes for a moment. "here..museum three days, waiting and watching for you."
karkarinus
"Well our friend Bharat never ceases to amaze!" Laughs Kalmer. "We need muscle, eh? What worries me is that he might be right. But we shall come to that later. Áni, are you now cured, or would you like some further attention? I have simple field remedies, and I'm sure Aldhelm here could work wonders on any lingering ailment you may suffer. Then we most urgently need to formulate a plan for the next couple of days." RedPlague
Áni shakes his head. "I cured before meeting Bharat, planned to go back into wilderness before seeing call for help." He opens a small pouch at his side and pulls out a simple pipe packed with a fruity smelling green herb. "Swampweed...you want some? Helps think.." He lights the pipe and inhales deeply then offers it to Kalmer. "Know how to cure disease with herbs, but was days away from where they grew. Too far and dangerous to travel alone and sick." phawk69
"Áni it's very nice to meet you, and very thoughtful of Bharat to send us some aid. Did he give you any updates or other information, perhaps information from the swamp of Ooo?" T'skar waits for his reply then turns to Kalmer "We could get into the Museum undetected by concealing ourselves, say two of us, and then the locks look easy enough to pick, but I don't think we want to raise any alarms just yet, as we do have other things that need taken care of. Why not try a little midnight foray into the lower Temple, via a tunnel on the beach and a key?" She waits for his reply.
DragonDudeAW
" I welcome you as well. T'Skar, the beach attempt may not be necessary. Perhaps if we mention we are here to dispel the "whisperings" that fill the lower levels of the temple, Arminda may be more amiable to our request. I don't want to risk the wound that Face received when other options might be available."
Malchik
Latest reports of the swamps of Ooo indicate the inhabitants have by and large abandoned the place causing economic unrest in the towns of Memtuz and Selma. The government is sending aid from the wealthier towns (Golconar, Zooz, Pellaret and Papred). Ippikander has refused to send aid on the basis that the problem may arrive on their doorstep and they'd need all the help they can get. Other poorer towns like Dohoti and Tangrik are complaining that they have asked for aid for years. At the moment complaints are not coalescing but Bharat is worried that if the situation deteriorates someone unscrupulous may make a bid for power. There is an implication that it might be the Sagrami family. On the face of it, with Arminda being the president's wife, this might seem unnecessary. However the president is a mere figurehead. True power lies elsewhere. OOC> Don't forget there is info old Nikishastra has yet to impart.
karkarinus
"Aldhelm has a good point." Says Kalmer to T'Skar. "Although I myself would enjoy a little clandestine activity to liven things up a bit, I feel Aldhelm's suggestion could help us kill two steppe-rats with one quarrel. We offer to dispel the whisperings, and at the same time we carry out our plan to make Sagrami believe that T'Skar holds the secret of eternal youth. I fear that the tunnel plan would not only be more risky, but also less productive." Kalmer looks at the rest of the group to see their reaction... EDIT: "...And in the meantime, we should go back and speak to our friend Nikishastra, as he apparently has some information that could aid Aldhelm in his quest."" phawk69
"Not only Aldhiem, but I think he has some information on one of the lost swords of Zooz as well." T'skar interjects.
DragonDudeAW
"Speaking of eternal youth, my stores of herbs and such is dwindling. Perhaps Face might know where I can restock. I can't make a Restore Fatigue, I mean eternal youth, potion out of thin air yet."
