Malchik
Arminda grabs the vial and applies it. She sees it works. Rather surprisingly T'skar notices that it does have a small effect in reality. Tiax had worked hard on the potion and although it is illusory it seems real enough. Arminda is convinced. "How quickly can you give me the supply and what do you need in exchange?"

phawk69
ooc> Bad me, I know, but it's the only way I know to let people know there is a new post, so strike away if need be. ic> T'skar pauses as she sees the effects of the potion, "That worked better than I thought it would on you," she says with mild surprise, "So you would like a supply? I'm sure we can come to a mutually beneficial agreement. Of course, you will understand that this needs to be kept in the strictest confidence, under pain of death? If word of this ever got out, why Kolokon would be swamped with people trying to buy eternal youth, and really, how many of them would deserve it? If rumor reaches the Palace that you are telling others, it will be denied and your supply will be cut off, causing you to age at an increased rate. The potion it self is quite complex, as I understand, and has many parts, no one person knowing all of it. We will need a lock of your hair, something to bind the mixture to you. The first batch should be ready in three months from the time we arrive back in Kolokon, with a new batch arriving every month thereafter, as long a more hair is provided. As for remuneration, I will let you decide what it’s worth to you.” T’skar waits expectantly.
Malchik
"I have no problem with that." Arminda summons a flunkey and requests scissors. Within moments the Lady Taskara has a lock of her hair. "I will pay you on receipt of the potion say 1000 nipin per vial? Is that adequate? If there is nothing more for now, I need to return to the main party. There are a few I need to talk to." It is clear that the woman believes she has got out of you all she needs and will not be 'available' again at the party once you have agreed the bargain. Kalmer can be seen hovering nearby. karkarinus
Kalmer takes a step forward from where he was 'hovering' and addresses Arminda Sagrami: "Forgive my intrusion, Lady Sagrami, but Lady Taskara really has no need for monetary remuneration, do you, Ma'am?" He turns to T'Skar, glancing sidelong towards Sagrami. "Why, her only financial outlay ever has been this holiday by the seaside!" He gives a haughty laugh. "No, surely we can come to some other arrangment, Ma'am? Perhaps something by way of thanks rather than payment per se. Something that Lady Taskara would treasure more than wealth - the joy of a new experience, and at the same time the chance to do a good deed. What say we pay a visit to the Temple and see if we can't fathom the mystery of those whispers? A good deal all round, what?" Kalmer ends jocularly. Malchik
Arminda shrugs. "That seems remarkably inexpensive for me. I can't imagine you'll find anything useful in the Temple but by all means if that's what you want." She calls her flunkey over and says it will take twenty minutes or so. The flunkey will deliver the pass if you can wait. She then disappears into the party. After the wait, a pass to the temple for Lady Taskara and party is brought to you. At the same time as this is happening, Tiax sees a couple of strange men skulking about outside their lodgings. He remarks about it to the others near him. RedPlague
Áni moves his knife to where he can grab it quickly, and stands in the center of the room. Despite the fact he had no time to get his armor he was intentionally making himself an obvious target. Crouching slightly, he took on a defensive stance as he mentally prepared his body for combat and pain.

Abramul
Semi-OOC: Is anyone in the room with us? Are cats common in Bashker? Which party members are currently present?
Malchik
OOC> Afaik Kalmer and t'skar are at the party. Face is still outside waiting for them. Ari, Tiax, you and Aldhelm are in the main room of the lodging. There are household members near by but not in the room with you. (Ari may have stayed outside which is what I asked him.) Cats are as common in Bashkher as anywhere. Voracious ginger cats known as field garr in particular. Household pets are not so common. Big cats such as lions tigers etc are extinct.
