Chaos Arms Reign Of Boethia!

Well I'm begining a new mod i't wont be ready for a long long time as there is a hell of alot to do. im just starting with the custom stuff during my free time (learning how to mod various ways but pracrticing it at the same time :D)

 

Ok what the Mod is about: (May Require SI! :S) (May also require the finish of the main quest)

 

Well the idea was is it's about the Return of Ebonarm (The God Of War!) in the west of tamriel just off the coast there are a group of "Priests Of Renewal" who have found the corpse of the great Ebonarm and they decide to use there powerful ancient magic to recover the soul of Ebonarm. (I Already have an awsome idea of how ebonarm will look) but no spoilers yet!!

 

Meanwhilst this occurs a Gate to the realm of boethia opens in tamriel the reason being boethia is looking for some contestants to fight his "Grand Champion" (He opens his realm from island to island looking for a Contender for his own amusement.) Unluckily for Boethia he has opened his gates during the time of Ebonarms return.

 

Being an Arch Enemy of Boethia Ebonarm hears about the openin of the realm and how better to Uphold his glory than to kill a daedric prince especially Boethia. seeing as Boethias realm is already open Ebonarm challanges Boethia but in destraught Boethia decides to send his armys to try and kill the almighty Ebonarm!

 

 

Now here is where you come in After comosion outside of Cheydinhal the citizens are furious now you decide who is in the wrong and who you want to Kill/Help

 

 

Is Ebonarm wrong for challenging Boethia? so you decide to talk to Boethia and agree to help him kill off the uprising army of Ebonarm?...

 

Or is it Boethia in the wrong for sending armys to remove the forces of Ebonarm and cause comotion to Tamriel just after the Oblivion Crisis?

 

I just wanted to know if this could be done without upsetting any type of recent lore

 

Obviously i have to include wether you have already done the shrine of Boethia and things like that

 

 

This mod will include many many new things such as

 

-Armours and Weapons (Hence the name Chaos Arms Reign Of Boethia)

 

-New Creatures

 

-New Animations

 

-New Npc's

 

-New Spells

 

-New Realm (New Cities)

 

-New Items

 

-Grand Battles Between The Two Forces

 

-Two Awsome Questlines But Your The One Who Decides Your Path!

 

And probably more it will take a long long time but for now its not much of an issue for me im

taking it easy.

If I have my lore correct, I believe that Daedric princes can't properly die. They do something similar to Umaril. Also, if Ebonarm's challenged boethiah, then he must have gone to his realm. Why wouldn't Boethiah just kill him there?

@ Slawter 500 Yeah sure, can do you can be a team Member i don't need much doing at the moment just sorting out the plan and still learning to do things XD :D

 

 

@ DagonTheranis - Sorry i forgot to mention that Ebonarm challenges Boethia to fight him outside the realm In tamriel for 2 reasons.

 

1. To Cause A Fuss

 

2. To Gain A Crowd (To Bare Witness To The Winner!!) Not forgetting that they are both very very powerful! so it would be a good fight.

 

Boethia at an early stage of the Quest gets a messenger to tell Ebonarm to come face Boethia in the realm.

 

But Ebonarm refuses knowing that Boethia is a master of treachery and deciete and in anger Slays the messenger. then decides he will Summon his army to take on the forces of boethia and fight his way to the prince and then when he has boethia alone, thats where they fight

(Thats Ebonarms Plan And Thats What He'd Want You To Help Him Do) knowing you helped to slay Mehrunes Dagon...

 

Or be escorted to Boethias realm to speak to him about Ebonarms blockading in Boethias fun thats when Boethia want you to use your cunning to pick off Ebonarms forces so the army of boethia can go as one untouched and use there vast numbers to Imprison Ebonarm until the battle between the Prince and the Captured comes forth.

 

So either way you get to watch cool battles between each army. (Much like the Saints and the Seducers in SI) You also get the new awsome Items,Weapons and Armors applied for each army

 

Also you may finally get to hold Boethia's Axe!! (YOU GUYS AT E.G ALREADY KNOW WHICH ONE THAT IS!!!)

Well, I can do a demonic voice if you like, but it can sound kind of silly sometimes.

Also, I think daedric princes can shapeshift. Then again it may just be Sheogorath.

Actually, Sheo didnt 'Shapeshift', he just forcibly turned into Jygallag, and shapeshifting means to change on your own accord. I can write books, if thats needed.

Also, why would the trouble be near Cheydinhall? Thats far to the east, not anywhere near the west, where Ebonarm is. Id change that to Chorrol or Anvil.

If you need any sort of help writing concept for quests, characters, all that sort of thing, I could probably help. I'm not much of a modder, but I'm an avid writer, and can take instruction well.

Cool nice to see im getting replies back Oh and @andy127... did i put cheydinhal :S yes... there we go yes i did :S yeah i got mixed up between the two yes your right Chorrol thats what i meant thanks dude

 

Also as i said i'm not crazy about rushing to start this mod :D but thanks for taking an intrest errm about books...

 

@Andy can you do some books filled with random daedric/mystical fonts with maybe the oblivon icon as the book cover or something like that?? Just something mystical looking for the "Priests of Renewal" to read as they summon him and maybe a book that can be purchased at the end of the game about the great battle (Depending on your path depends on the book purchasable which is pretty cool :L)

 

And yes there will more than likely be Easter Eggs as its something im fond of i just like the idea of it :L

 

Luckily we have pronam when it comes to the scripts (which i currently SUCK at :L) and as for blitzkrieg well... since i have andy who is also an Avid writer i may have to see what you could help with im thinking something to do with the realm... with books maybe not forgetting that his main minions are actually (Hungers) as i like the Hungers from SI and his other minions obviously Daedra (not as bloodthirsty as the Oblivion Crisis ones) they probably will read in daedric so really daedric books would be nice :P

 

 

But take your time i don't want you to rush with this because what im arranging to do with this mod will take a long long time and alot of testing and then after i think its reay then its off to you guys for a test run then you can give the Thumbs up and you'll be the most recent ever to try the mod :D

I might be able to help you with this, I can edits textures, write books, and I know how to use the Construction Set and NifSkope, if that helps. Anyways I'd like to help anyway that I can.

 

And, just curious, what kind of easter eggs?
