tkahng
hey guys I just got the latest nvse and did the usual, dragged the files to the main folder. However when i launch the loader, it shows an error saying"the version of this file is not compatible with the version of windows you're running."Im running a 64bit windows 7 and the steam folder is in the x86 program files folder, which to my knowledge is where the 32bit folders are supposed to go.Does anyone have any solutions to this problem? Thanks
Ball11
You install the NVSE into the folder where the main .exe is for fallout same for SKSE,FOSE,OBSE
bben46
It goes into your steam path\Steam\steamapps\common\fallout new vegas folder I run Win7 x64 and have never had a problem with NVSE. I have steam in E:\Games\steam - but yours is the default location and should work. Most common errors are:Not having the latest Steam version of New Vegas (1.4.0.525)not unzipping the files firstcopying them into \Data instead of the game foldernot starting the game with NVSE ( or a launcher that supports NVSE) instead of the default game launchergetting the NVSE from some source other than the author's site http://nvse.silverlock.org/

RoyBatterian
Try running the launcher as administrator. Are you using windows 8 perhaps?
