DavidBudreck
Uninstalling Oblivion is not going to help since bodies do not turn green when FCOM is not installed. Therefore, it has nothing to do with your base Oblivion Installation. Try completely uninstalling FCOM, --Delete Everything FCOM Related--, and then re-download it to get a fresh archive. Then try reinstalling only the bare minimum of what is needed to run, and go from there. Something is corrupt somewhere; maybe a new download and reinstall will clear it up. DavidBudreck
Theoretically, yes, overwriting should produce the same results. However, I would delete everything first, just to be sure, but that's me, and may just be paranoia. The trick is, that you don't know whether or not there is actually a corrupt file or not, and it would be best to be sure as you go forward. When you re-download the file, open the archive, then go through the folders in the archive and delete everything in your data folder.
ShatteredLimits7
Hey, I got the same problem  To me, when the green effect happens, they enemies fall down and get up again. It looks like a poison shader or silence effect on them. Their health is not affected but they act as if they had been paralyzed. I have done the same thing as you. FCOM and all. Making sure everything is as perfect as I could get it. I wonder if something out there is corrupted? Because this problem from what I can find in the forums is very recent. I wonder if somebody's update is not quite all there?
zzrowgraff
Hey guys, I had the exact same problem and fixed it yesterday. You need to either register your MMM.bsa in oblvion.ini OR rename it to FCOM_Convergence - MMM.bsa. The game couldn't find blood textures from the bsa, and defaulted to green. That's why it only happens on dead bodies. You may have also have noticed some (not all though) invisible crabs. Corepc gave this solution on another thread so full credit to him for the heads-up. Cheers, Zzrow Graff

Cheers, Zzrow Graff This is precisely what I was thinking. I have FCOM, and though I dont have the same issue and have never seen it before, I was thinking about the things that effect corpses. Something in FCOM adds blood textures to corpses on death and to those already dead sometimes. Im pretty sure that it is MMM. I was going to suggest looking there for the issue also. Gravatrax
They all do...so it FCOM, MMM, or/and OOO must all have seperates blood textures set apart from stock vanilla blood files. Oblivion is nothing more than a code body frame wrapped in textures and meshes. + a lot of script.
