missing models after merging armor mods

Hope someone can figure htis out for me.

Im merging about 20 (edit, 56 actually, i counted) armor mods in tessedit.

The merge says succesful, and i click check for errors and none are found, so I close and save the merged mod.

When I reopen the merged mod in tesedit, and check for errors, every item is missing the model, not the biped model in the armor add on, that is accoutned for. im talking about the model for specific items under the armor heading. This is confirmed in the ck as well, the model is missing.

Basically, im trying to merge a bunch of armor mods, then add them to a level list. Ive done it with success, except when anyone dons an article, it doesnt show up. Inventory models are present, as well as openworld models. just not on people. The mods have the models present before merging.

Ican manually add the models back in ck, but there are something like 3000 items.

I think it might have something to do with tesedit renumbering hte forms. but its just a hunch.

anybody have any suggestions?

Not familiar with TES5Edit merging...

But what I don't understand is you said that the models are present in the Armor Addon form yet they are not visible when worn. The model assigned to the Armor Addon form is the model that is worn. The model assigned to the Armor form is the inventory/world model.

My guess is that some or all of your armor mods have BSA files which contain the meshes. You could extract them and have them loose in your data folder. Or you might be able to get them to load by adding those BSA entries to sResourceArchiveList2=Skyrim - Voices.bsa, Skyrim - VoicesExtra.bsa in the Skyrim.ini found in Documents > My Games > Skyrim (much like you have to add the DLC bsa's to the SkyrimEditor.ini in order to load DLCs in the CK)

what is missing specifically is the information under model, that references the appropriate Armour add on,

ive also noticed in game via the cosole that the objects all have the same id of 80000, and the model just says unisex

eureka. all fixed.

Ididi two things, not sure which did it, but ,

I made sure i ahd version 1.65 of the merge script. LAst night I said I had v1.6, which i must have. I did it so quickly today im not sure if i wrote over the v1.6 script, or if i already had v.165. I know the file sizes were the same.

regardless, Im using v1.65 now.

Then i systmatically merged the mods i wanted, to see if one of the esps was to blame.

sure enough, a few of the esps were not merging correctly, even though it said merge succesful and no immediate errors.

I dont understand why it corrupte dthe entire merged plugin, but it did.

anyways, i have now succesfully meged 56!! armor mods. I was way off when i said about 20 last night it seems.

Now to add edit values and add them to the level list.

My plan is to add more diversty to the armor found in skyrim, so for instance, leather armor, maybe 8 or so different types taht would be considered leather, and that spawn on npcs randomly.

Thanks for all the feedback!
